Bursitis Treatment
I have had ongoing bursitis in both of my hips for about 3-4 years. Very painful, for example, when I carry a basket of laundry up stairs or need to lift just about anything that is heavy. I had this checked out about 3 years ago before COVID limited doctor visits. At that time they told me to take 3

My travels through FND
My body and mind have seemed to be on a constant search for absolute disassociation over my lifetime and especially the last few years. I would say that my body and mind finally found its height of disassociation once I started to have Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES). I have also struggled

Nucala and extreme back pain and muscle tightness
I had my first dose November 2021 and started noticing back pain around Christmas. Began severe back pain after my 3rd injection in January 2022. Also had an injection in February and March. I will not be taking any more. I really feel this is where this is coming from. I have had no injury. This

Update
Hi guys So what a useless conversation on the phone that was today, not sure if anyone has ever heard of the spire hospital obviously they are a private hospital. I'd spoke to a member of the team today so I said how much would it cost me to see one of your pulmonary doctors š¤ and the reply was sorry

It's been a while since I posted on here, at least partly because I haven't been able to run as I would have liked. Having graduated on C25K and Bridge to 10k in July 2019 and late 2019 respectively, I continued to build up my speed and distance, raching the peak of my running career so far almost exactly

Bm and neck problem
Hi, I had bacterial meningoencephalitis a year ago. The biggest problem I have is neck stiffness that doesnāt go away. I can barely move my neck. I went to physical therapy, ultrasound and laser, but nothing helped me. Due to neck problems, I can't move much. Has anyone had a similar problem and what

Discharged from Cardio Physio this afternoon.
Had my last assessment with the cardio physios today and pleased to say there has been an improvement since I started the cardio rehab a few months ago. I have now been referred on to the next stage 'the exercise referral scheme' which is a scheme mainly funded by the Welsh Government but participants

Ultrasound Therapy for Inflammation
Wondering if anyone has had ultrasound therapy for tendinitis or muscle strain. Was at physical therapy for achilles tendinitis. Was told could try ultrasound for healing but, contraindicated in people with cancer. Tech said, she would recheck this. Wondering if anyone has experienced anything like

Hi I was diagnosed with Profundus about 10 years ago and I am on hydroxychloroquine. Lately if I have a fall or twist an ankle etc it takes months to heal...I have swollen knees after a fall in 2018...they went down a bit but it all seems to be fluid. I asked my gp for fluid tablets after getting no

Prednisolone - do you need to shield for a short dose (4-5 weeks?)
Hi I've had upper arm pain which may be a rotator cuff issue (apparently those with RA are susceptible) this is getting worse and is becoming a problem. My GP has set up a physio appointment for me in 3 weeks time. In addition there's some RA type pain in right thumb joint/wrist (a new location for me

Possible flare
After writing my post three days go and feeling so good about myself. This is what happened next. I started experiencing pain in my shoulder blade on the left side, the opposite side from my fall. I immediately thought it had been caused by perhaps being over zealous following my physio exercises.

Getting back to running after a 6 month break
I've got gluteal tendinitis which flared up really badly in October 2021 and have been seeing a physio. I feel a lot better than I had been doing, just a little stiff around my left hip area. I was previously doing a 5k and 3k run a week and pilates once or twice a week. I've kept up with the pilates

Update on my post titled Fall (a month ago)
Hi dear friends, Six weeks have passed since I had my fall. The mattress and cushion, to relieve pressure sores was really a godsend, although I still needed to apply lots of cream. During these weeks Iāve been doing physio exercises 3-4 times daily. Two weeks ago I was referred to NHS Physio, Peter,
