In the process of finding out if I have endometriosis
Hi, I'm very new to this, so sorry if I ramble. I'm currently in the process of finding out if I have endometriosis. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother (we assume from symptoms) all had it, and two have had their wombs removed (after having children - which I currently do not have). I am

IBS HELP
Hi all, I really need some help at the moment. I have been diagnosed with IBS and an inflammed bladder. I went to the doctor the other day as i thought i had a water infection. She thinks that all my pain is coming from my bowel and may have been pressing on my bladder. I'm quite sick at the moment

Call from GP and some clues
I've finally had a telephone call from my current GP - fortunately the one I know best. The call came just as I was thinking I might get out of bed, and it took some frantic fumbling to do the slide across on my iphone to be able to answer, but fortunately I've had a few days to think about what I needed

Any meds that don't cause weight gain?
Hi all, hope your Sunday has started well. I have tried gabapentin, amitriptyline and pregabalin, but all made me so hungry I put on considerable amounts of weight. Co-Codamol doesn't do that, but can be addictive, so not allowed to take it every day. I heard that in the USA some people use meds like

Hi, this is the first time I have posted on this forum. I have a diagnosis of undifferentiated auto immune disease with a wide range of symptoms and I get a lot of support on the Health Unlocked Lupus forum. I have had GI problems for many years, hiatus hernia (for over 30 years!!) and acid reflux treated

I had an x ray last year and was told I have arthritis in my hip that is not bad enough for a replacement. I accepted this I knew it wasn't that bad. That was it no other information was forthcoming. I don't even know the what type I have. This past month it has become very painful I can't see a GP
