Discomfort
Hi all. I'm getting discomfort in my upper abdomen. It's not pain exactly but it's uncomfortable. It's like IBS, which I suffer with, but can't take peppermint oil anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? It's not bloated like I had when I was diagnosed with cirrhosis. Apart from this

Journey to recovery
Hi everyone, I’m in my second month of recovery from IBS. Try Peppermint oil capsules (not the sweets) 30 minutes to 1 hour before your meal; 15 minutes it’s quite ok. The Holland & Barrets is highly recommended . I also take 2 glasses of water every morning before breakfast. Your mental health also

Tuff Nutt is back with lots of questions!
In late November, 2023, I made two trips to ER for low BP and extreme chest pain in the same week. While in the hospital the second visit, my pre ER sore throat symptoms developed into something called HPIV-3. My first evening after being discharged, I developed uncontrollable coughing. This continued

Reducing or eliminating IBS symptoms
I thought I should share this, if your IBS symptoms is frequent stooling (not diarrhoea) you can try peppermint oil capsules say 30 mins to 1 hour before a meal (once a day) combined with deliberate reduction in stress and relaxation from worry; I believe it will work, at least 90% reduction. The best

Apixaban
I just wanted to thank everyone who had replied to my post about the effects of changing manufacturers of Apixaban. After several calls to my doctor I have managed to get him to prescribe Eliquis Apixaban as I didn't have any nasty effects from it My usual pharmacy didn't stock it and were quite unhelp

What is an ablasion procedure is it safe?
Diagnosed with AFIB, cardiologist has suggested for me to look into ablasion proceedure. Taking Eliquis but an expensive drug to be on. Research shows this proceedure with ablasion only 70% successful to put heart back in a normal rhythem? Has anyone had this proceedure done?

PROBLEM WITH APIXABAN - ADVICE NEEDED
I have been on Eliquis (Abixaban) for over a year and haven't to my knowledge had any serious effects. Over the weekend, I had breakfast and usual meds, including Apixaban. One hour later I suffered a serious visual disturbance and everything was spinning. Felt really ill. Blood pressure very high

Eliquis and AF symptoms
Hi all, I've been following the posts on this forum and have received helpful feedback re blood thinners and AF. I was recently diagnosed with AF and was put on Eliquis, which I've not yet started because of what I heard about the side effects. I have bradycardia and experience flutters and lightheadedness

Tired
I have JAK2 and ET. I have been doing great since I am off of the HU and Anagralide. Only on Eliquis 2x's a day. Doing whatever I want to do. However, today was a day that I have spent all day in bed. Totally exhausted. Is it normal to have days like this that comes out of the blue? Hoping tomorrow

Anyone have Post-Ablation Good News
My doctor keeps pushing me to consider having an ablation procedure done. I'm eighty and take 50 mgs Metropolol because the doctor reccommended 75 mgs left me totally out of breath when I skied or walked the dog briskly. I doing better on the 50 mgs and the doctor didn't seem to object on my recent visit

A fib meds
I have been prescribed Eliquis and Metopropol. I've been taking it for a couple of years. It seems like it would be pretty rough on kidneys. Does anyone take an alternative?
