Resistant to PEP?
Can you be resistant to
PEP
? I have been taking it a few times because I’m working as a nurse.

Looking for inspiration
I am determined to go tonight when the hubby gets in from work but could do with a bit of a
pep
talk? Plus one of my goals this year is to run a 10k any advice on bridging the gap?

Covid Injection
When my husband , who is not a
pep
, had the vaccine. He reacted badly and has been quite ill. Blood tests indicate that at some stage he has had Covid. When I had my vaccine I did feel a little off colour but thought that was all. Since then my journey has been a bit of a roller coaster.

I knew it was going to be a bit strange but didn’t realise just how much I’d actually miss Mr Michael Johnson chirping in my ear from time to time with the usual little
pep
talk or minutes left reminder; it really did feel like this is really down to me now 😟.

Can you give me a
pep
talk and tell me to put my “ big girls pants on” Monday for treatment plan and an iron transfusion because I’ve been found to be severely anaemic just to add insult to injury!

Morning 5k
Yesterday I gave myself a 24 hour mental
pep
talk in preparation for today’s run. I can report that whilst I wasn’t suddenly floating along on a cloud of positivity, I did have the resilience to not think about time and distance but to keep pressing on.

my life is a failure
I don't feel like listening some motivational
pep
talk or " trying to look at it from a different perspective" I got to the point where I know I completely failed at everything, I am a waste of space, waste of resources. i'm just so done with myself.

“Social Damage”
We are doing OT, Music Therapy, swim and tennis as well as
PEP
therapy. We agreed to go the medication route after speaking to the neuropsych about the social damage of ADHD and the labeling that comes with it “out of control” “impulsive”. The meds have been a god-send.

I tried hard, I really did, and gave myself
pep
talks and fell back on how heroes of mine faced far worse, but I think the time had come for just a moment or two of indulgence in being really fed up! I don't think it's wrong to do that once in a while.

Spring 2021 Half Marathon Group 😍 10K race? And some nice links - hills n thrills!
😍 Also, remember to keep your playlist requests and
pep
talks coming! I had a fabulous experience on my long run this Tuesday! I was coming back down the hill - a lovely stretch of about 4 km which I was really enjoying - when I spotted ahead a long queue of people waiting to go into a shop.

Random waves of loneliness and suicidal thoughts..
All these superficial things I do to ‘
pep
’ up my mood… brush hair, paint nails… even shower or take my multivitamins…. It’s not helping develop self-love. Not being able to fool myself by fixing how I seem from the outside. In some sorts… Its creating a bigger divide and rift within myself.

We have to hold on to hope, even if that is ALL we have to hold on to.
I am trying to give you the
pep
talk that I would want someone else to give to me. Even if you are at rock bottom, at least you're looking up. Don't be fooled by everything you see and hear right now.

Anxiety From School
I especially miss all of the band events we would have, like football games, and
pep
band, and concerts. High school really isn't the same without it. But it is what it is I suppose. Hope everyone is doing well during these uncertain times.

Experience with PEP Device
Hello - Does anyone use a
PEP
device? I was just prescribed one by my respirologist but she did not advise me of the resistance level. I started with the lowest and worked my way to the highest but I don't find that it makes a big difference in chest clearance.

Concerned about TSH & T4 levels
Particularly in the mornings i
pep
up after my medication a bit. Am i know Hyper in stead of Hypo. I do worry about levels set by laboritories. I was 22.7 T4 nearly 6 years ago was asked to reduce then. Feeling confused and fed up.

Bronchiectasis - Newly Diagnosed & Lost...
I use a
PEP
bottle for about 10 minutes in the morning and then try and cough up phlegm. About 1 in every 3 mornings I can get about 2 full teaspoons of phlegm that is green/yellow. They call them "plugs". I immediately breathe easier... literally.

have to splash out on some actual wireless earbuds 🤣maybe put them on my Xmas list 😁 the music was quite chilled and relaxed and never really got me going, with the exception of the excellent "hooked on a feeling" by Bjorn Skifs and Blue Swede which put a massive smile on my face and a little extra

Nurse calls me a zebra, I prefer unicorn.
We talk daily almost and he has a new
pep
to his step which is amazing. My paternal grandpa died at 32 years old from liver disease, other grandpa died of colon cancer, uncle passed from Parkinson's disease and alcohol runs on both sides of my family.
