W4R1 YEAHHHHHHH
I sat on the end of my bed for about 15 minutes, giving myself a little
pep
talk like a mad woman. Then I thought 'you told yourself you couldn't run 90 seconds, but you did. You told yourself you couldn't run for 3 minutes, but you did. You can run for 5 minutes. Just bloody do it'.

Week 8 done !
I've stopped giving myself "
pep
talks" to get out of the door. I've stopped dreading what comes next. I've stopped pressuring myself.

My wife the philosopher
After her
pep
talk the other day she told me once again not to compare my stats to others that have been running for a long time (my mates) She says “The only people you should compare yourself to are the lazy fat arses that don’t do any exercise”! I love that woman 😂🤣😂

vent about my kid and softball tryouts
We had a
pep
talk about it last night. She was pretty excited and receptive to the
pep
talk. Last week and this week, I asked - Are you sure you don't need any paperwork? You don't need ANYthing from me to try out? No. Today, she was not "on the list" and was not able to tryout.

I engaged in the usual
pep
talk mantra “You are fine, You’ve got this” except spoiler alert, I most assuredly did NOT have this.

Pep talk
Ok I have week 9 left to complete Had to take some time off as hip sore again and now I feel apprehensive about doing week 9 - I know it’s just a mental block and I know I can overcome it if I try - just don’t understand why I feel like this 😞 Aim is I go tomorrow morning and try and conquer this before

My wife gave me a little pep talk
After my run last night I commented to my wife that I was a bit disappointed with my time (W5 R2 3.53km in 31 mins @ an average pace of 08:50/km and a fastest pace of 06:31/km after 5 mins). She told me I was doing brilliant and that there is no such thing as a bad run and that any running is better

First post on the bridge, first 5.5k and first run in rain.
Finished in the park, I was tired but it felt doable with a few
pep
talks in my head! During the last few minutes my legs started giving me promises of all sorts of pain to come... It's only an extra 0.5k but I feel stupidly proud of myself!

New Programme - Run in the Sun!! 👟❤️
Hi Runners Well, I was suitably pumped up from my PB and went out with a bit of a
pep
in the step this morning. Having committed to run for fun and aware of my upcoming Charity Run next month, I have created a 5k plan on my App to run my best 5k on the day.

Recently...
It takes me into a state of shutting down and ignoring any sort of
pep
talks because I feel hurt at those I expected to be there. My anxiety kicks in and then my panic attacks occur, and all I can do is just cry, so I ask myself "what's wrong with me?"

Tracheomalacia
Currently taking 7% saline via Pari-
PEP
and this year will be my first winter with the diagnosis. They think I have underlying severe asthma as well as tracheomalacia but want to chat to others about experiences, tips and raise awareness of the condition.

My Son Gave Me A Pep Talk
He gave me a
pep
talk tonight about getting up and doing at least one thing today. He said there is no magic pill or robot that will make me get up. So I’m going to push myself. My son is the best. ❤️❤️

W9R3 COMPLETE! 🏃🏻♀️🥇
The
pep
talk worked wonders. One more trip to the loo and I left. It was ferociously hot outside. I left my comfort blanket (long sleeve top) indoors and on I went. Throughout the run, I kept thinking of this incredible journey I have been on.

Week 3 summary.
Gave self
pep
talk that it was either go back or succeed and surprised myself and got rid of the grump. 2nd I was in a good mood, it was sunny and hard! Very sweaty and heavy breathing. Today...boy does my left calf and shin hurt...felt almost too painful to lift near to the end.
