Nerve block
Hi everyone. I have just seen my gynaecologist in a follow up. In March I had surgery to separate my uterus from my abdomen and to treat endometriosis. I still had significant pain in my right side so was referred to a gastroenterologist who did and MRI and then a (very painful) colonoscopy. The gynaecologist

In patient pelvic pain treatment centers?
Hi, Does anyone know if there are in patient pelvic pain treatment centers? So tired of going from doctor to doctor to doctor and want everything looked at at once, ie: nerve blocks, diagnostics, peripheral nerve exams, alternative modalities, etc. Does this exist anywhere?

Something to keep in mind as you read the ‘advice’ that you are offered regarding your health.

Pain relief needed
I am in constant pain with my back - an area to the right of my spine and between my waist and shoulder blade - A & E doctor says most likely a pulled muscle may be a cracked rib but muscle most likely - my neighbour suggests I get a tens machine - could anyone advise of their experience with this please

Has anyone had a neuroma following pelvic surgery?
As my journey continues, nerve blocks aren't working well, no good relief, 8 months of acute pain.... now being sent to a doctor who cuts nerves and removes neuromas. Possibly nerve entrapments as well. I find any surgeries deliberately cutting nerves quite severe. Does anyone have experience with this

Shingles vaccination. Is this a good idea when you have hypothyroidism?
My husband has just been invited by the surgery to have a shingles vaccination and in a fortnight's time I will become eligible for the same vaccination. I have never thought of shingles as being that serious or even all that common but apparently one in three people will get it after the age of 50 and

Squirrel scratches? Chances of Rabies or Tetanus
Anyone bitten by a squirrel or mistakenly scratched by one in the UK? Out in Hyde Park on Sunday and very brave Squirrel ran up my leg when my back was turned. I do not interact with wildlife at all so as soon as that happened I screamed and it jumped off straight. The jump was very light and didn't

SHINGLES ON MY FACE.
Has anyone had an experience with shingles on their face? I have been dealing with it for a couple of years. The sores are gone but the nerves in my face are highly sensitive. Even the nerves on my gums and teeth on that side of my face. I use triamcinolone acetonide on my face which helps a little

Muscle pain and TENS
Used to ride a motorbike, so many low speed spills, and I always landed on my right shoulder. For years, if it was cold, was like I had arthritis or something. Dull, aching pain. Then when the AMN cranked up I commenced to falling. Always landed well. Right hand down, right shoulder absorbed the impact

hello from pudendal neuralgia sufferer
Hi, I kinda diagnosed myself. I've pretty much lived at my local Dr surgery this last 18 months. Each time I've been told they don't know what my symptoms were, couldn't therefore prescribe any meds to relieve the pain/discomfort. I have had heart tests, bloods (numerous ones), an ultrasound and
