Grateful for any Feedback on PVI Ablation Please
Hi, My background is:- Developed Atrial Fibrillation in November 2021 (persistent from day 1). Had a cardioversion in February 2022, which lasted about 7 weeks and then back into persistent AF, looking back I carried on as normal after the cardioversion and perhaps I should have been more careful.

Has anyone with spondylitis or psoriatic arthritis had adhesive capsulitis?
Hello, I was diagnosed with psoriatic spondylitis/arthritis at the beginning of the year, relating to an arthritic elbow, uveitis, mild psoriasis on hands and mild sacroiliitis. Around the same time I started developing pain in my right shoulder and restricted movement and pain when reaching behind

Have any Vagal Afibbers tried exercising before bed?
As I have Vagal Afib I can switch it off early on in an episode with a Valsalva maneuver. A few nights ago I could not stop the Afib as it did not wake me immediately, so I could not stop it the usual way. I had read that some people exercise during Afib, so rather than pop another Flecainide pill I

Docetaxel Extends Enzalutamide Effectiveness
This is our first proof that resistance to enzalutamide can be reduced with docetaxel. It also shows that triplet therapy may be beneficial in patients who have already progressed to castration resistance. We would expect a larger effect if used at the first sign of castration resistance. https://www.prostatecancer.news

Review of the Wellue 24 hour heart monitor with AI analysis.
I have bought one of these and am very impressed with what it detects and reports. See https://getwellue.com/products/heart-health-monitor Has an optional chest strap included so you can clip the monitor direct to the strap rather than use the adhesive pads. Detects up to 17 kinds of ECG events. When

how do you deal with sudden dizziness
hi My husband has a fib since being diagnosed in 2018. He is an otherwise fit and healthy 76 year old. Walks a lot not overweight no smoking and no alcohol since diagnosis. Is on digoxin and Rivaroxaban once a day. He gets a fib on average for about 24 hours every few weeks. Never found a trigger.

Hi all, i have been in afib for over 48 hrs. Are Blood Pressure levels relevant to the Anticoagulant decision?
That excellent communicator York cardiology has just done a video on blood pressure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7V7DssSbSE . This included the simple definitions: The Systolic blood pressure. This is when the heart is pumping and ejecting blood into the vascular system and therefore is the highest

Something Seems Off With my Smartwatch Heart rate Readings
I was given an IPhone Smart Watch for Christmas, but just started using it, the past couple of months. My question is with the accuracy of the heart rate readings. I usually wait at least 1 & 1/2 hours, after taking my Cartia, before I start a brisk 35-60 min. walk. Sometimes, my heart rate will register

Excising of thyroid
This is just passing on what a doctor has told me. In surgical thyroidectomy, it is quite often the case that a small portion of the thyroid is left, and apparently the pituitary isn't sensitive to or affected by this small T4 contribution. With radio-destruction of the thyroid, this almost always results
