New to Fibro..
Moved from
Paracetamol
to Co codomol. Not much difference. Dreading this journey but hoping to find a light at the end of the tunnel.

Propranolol and aches & pains
I mean really GONE, not just less, I didn't need a single
paracetamol
for the 6 weeks I was on it. Then when I stopped the Propranolol after the Carbimazole had got things back under control, gradually the aches & pains are back Most people will say well, what do you expect at your age?

Hyterscopy and miruena coil
Hello - like to know your experience of having a hyesterscopy - been told a few
paracetamol
all that is needed and also fit a miruena coil. Apparently I have Adenomyosis (as well as stage iv endo which I knew about) but wants to exclude womb cancer. Is this true it doesn’t hurt?

IVF and unexpected challenges
That morning, after the eggs collection, I went home and I started to feel pain, got
paracetamol
but the pain didn’t stop. I called the clinic and they suggested me to go to A&E immediately. At 9 pm we arrived at the hospital and they admitted me in the early morning, around 5 am.

Really struggling at the moment
And I don’t really want to check
paracetamol
down into an already sensitive stomach. I just feel like crying now. Sorry to unload on you all but I am just at the end of my tether. I want to run but my body is letting me down again.

Suspect mast cell disorder - who to ask my GP to refer to?
The only things that got me through it was anti-histamine tablets and
paracetamol
helped with the pain. My GP triage service was unhelpful - no continuity or understanding of my condition.

Codeine
I've taken
paracetamol
/codeine preparations (panadeine forte) in the past for headaches etc and have had no problem with it. My intention is to reduce Lyrica (currently 300mg) by supplementing with codeine. Thanks in advance.

Taking NSAIDs like Ibruprofen with other drugs
So I thought I'd share this with everyone, like me, who wasnt aware of this contraindication to taking a common drug -
Paracetamol
is fine, but not an anti-inflammatory. Keep safe everyone

Anyone know how to deal with nasal congestion during pregnancy ?
I have to admit I did take a
paracetamol
and it kinda of helped . I am trying to avoid tablets I fear it will harm the baby.

No flu jab for me!
Went this morning to my pharmacy to get vaccinated against flu. I've never had a flu jab before and all my allergies were checked, taking up most of the space on the form but was stymied when it came to latex allergy. Pharmacist said he couldn't take the risk, - although NHS says it's negligible -
