Surgery fears
I don't know if it is just me but I've been having these horrible dreams where they perform the surgery and don't find any sign of endo, or I'm at a gynaecologist appointment and the doctor doesn't believe my pain and just prescribes
paracetamol
and says that everything is in my head. - I'm currently

Coping With Hot Weather
There is a recently updated (last month) BHF article on coping with the heat here: https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/support/practical-support/weather-and-your-heart Me, this afternoon it will be feet up, a cool non-alcoholic drink and maybe a couple of
paracetamol
while I watch the GP!

I crawled out of bed took 2
paracetamol
and checked my temperature it was normal! When I awoke at 8am I felt bad and had a tremendous headache, by this time I could hardly walk due to the body pain.

Circumcision Recovery/Journey/Tips/Advice
Pain
: I was using paraffin and instillagel as suggested by the surgeon and using
paracetamol
regularly—-these really helped. The skin near the incision was a bit rolled up (I’m grower) the top right side was a bit swollen since the surgery but no pain or infection.

Ablation - again!
Feeling very sorry for myself, still in a great deal of pain with my hips,
paracetamol
can only go so far, suppose will need to try and get GP consult for further help regarding analgesia - doing as many stretches as the pain will allow!!

Fluid around ovaries? *UPDATE*
I’m taking regular
paracetamol
, but I haven’t been able to sleep properly for days, I’m genuinely not feeling well due to the discomfort and it’s sending my anxiety through the roof despite being reassured three times now that the babies are fine.

Should I still be taking Omeprazole when the only pain killer I now take is paracetamol?
Good afternoon, Not posted before but have been thinking about reviewing my medication and am still on omeprazole as was taking NSAIDs for chronic back and neck pain. I have been unable to take NSAIDs since being diagnosed with AF in 2017 so wonder if I need to take them I take maybe 4 a day now as

Sensitive questions: illness/pregnancy
Temp was 39 for 48 hours and
paracetamol
didn’t touch it. Slept with ice packs last night because my skin was on fire. Slightly down today. I’m so worried 😢midwife not got back to me. Because of quarantine I won’t be able to have my scan this week or maybe not next.

And I thought it was all over…
I’ve had little PMR pain for the last 9 months. Have been slowly reducing Pred, though regular step backs with illness but down to 4.5. Smugly I thought my PMR had gone and all I needed was to watch out for adrenal problems. Then, while in process of moving house with some major headaches, husband taken

Adult Chicken pox
I had fever of about 104^C continuously for about 5 days and my normal dose of medicine was not working so I had to take 3 tablets of
paracetamol
at a time. The itchiness very bad. This things are normal symptoms of adult chicken pox. Don't worry if these are the only symptoms you have.

Lidocaine patches.
My husband recalled I had lidocaine patches for a previous problem so today I have put on patch and along with oxycodone and
paracetamol
have coped better today. Still got pain but slightly less acute. I let you all know how tomorrow goes. More of the same I’m hoping for. Thank you all

Getting stronger
I am now doing 2x15 min walks and started the full
paracetamol
and codeine dosage. I am now able to do my chest exercises with hardly any discomfort which means I do them properly. From Monday I will slowly start to reduce the pain killers. I am increasing my walks by 5 minutes every Monday.

Fall
I fell on the stairs a week ago and landed on my left buttock. the pain is debilitating. It is the same place as I have previously had polymialgia pain. Paracetemol has no effect. Can this be polymialgia playing up as a consequence off the fall? Should I increase my steroid dose? If I had damaged

Useful write by an unknown lady saved in my system long back and forgotten by me!
To put it in a simple manner, if you suffer from typhoid fever and have high fever, prescribing
paracetamol
tablets is only going to bring down the fever. The underlying typhoid will not be cured. In the same way, insulin resistance is the root cause of diabetes.

Plea for tips for thyroid pain?
Really struggling to find anything effective for the pain -
paracetamol
, ibuprofen and CBD aren’t cutting it. The warmth from a cup of tea takes the edge off slightly. But it’s really starting to affect my sleep this week and the more tired I get, the more desperate for a solution I become!
