Hoping to avoid the IC
There's not enough pain to call for
paracetamol
and I hope it will resolve if I take it easy for a couple of days.

Was told to stay home, rest and take
paracetamol
. I was a bit surprised as I'd thought having an MPN and being on active treatment would qualify me. I put a call in directly to my Hem who confirmed his decision, saying MPN's were definitely not on the list. Thankfully, I'm not feeling too bad.

Is this a flare?
Paracetamol
helps a little bit. It’s not helped by the fact that I took advantage of a free back massage whilst on holiday.

I know I wan only take
paracetamol
. If anyone has any tips or has had similar reaction. This morning the pain was so intense I was crying, I am afraid whatever I do is not good for the embryo to stick.

Just come back from docs again to be told its only OA for which there is not much that can be done as it is a degenerate condition. ( Keep taking the tablets
Paracetamol
)! Had to ask for Hips Exray. It seems that self diagnosis and some knowledge of the subject is the only form of defence.

The pain in the wrists and hands improves with
paracetamol
. My question is, ‘could this be osteoporosis, RA or arthritis which the Pred has been masking or is it PMR? I had a dexa scan a year ago which showed borderline osteopenia and I take Adcal-D3.

Zapain and Paracetamol
two tablets at night, but in the daytime to take one Zapain and one
paracetamol
500. I understand that Zapain is a generic, has anyone found it inferior to the Co-Codamol. Thank you to everyone who replies, this site is so helpful with amazing people who understand.

Wilsons Disease/long term paracetamol use
I have a second question too, as my sister was terrible to pop
paracetamol
and did so throughout her entire life. Of later years she also took a large number or herbal tablets and so my new research concerns the over use of these tablets and the long term impact on the liver.

Don't take Tylenol (acetaminophen or paracetamol) if you are using any kind of immunotherapy
It may increase regulatory T cells and PD-1 expression, which stop immunotherapies from working. It also changes the enzymes responsible for drug metabolism, and may cause drug-drug interactions (also a reason to avoid supplements when taking other medicines). https://ascopubs.org/doi/abs/10.1200/JCO

Please help. Where do I go next?
I take mefenamic acid before and during my period, along with
paracetamol
, ibuprofen, and sometimes co-codamol. My hot water bottle is stuck to my belly and back like glue and I always carry one everywhere I go to try and manage the pain. Sex is also extremely painful.

Pain medication recommendations for knee & ankle swelling & inflammation
I find that swelling in either of my knees or ankles triggers my RLS. Since I had a knee replacement 6 months ago, the swelling happens frequently as both legs readjust to the post-surgical healing. A new study revealed that ibuprofen and other NAISDS can cause fatal kidney disease, so my GP took me

Olaparib and Avastin
Hi All, I wondered if anyone is taking Oliparib, 600mg a day and also having 3 weekly infusions of Avastin? I started on the Avastin on the 2nd cycle of 6 cycles of carboplatin and paclitaxol. Having finished that regime I have now started on the maintenance treatment. Last month, a few days after the
