Angiogram arm pain
Hi. Just checking for other’s experience of arm pain and bruising after angiogram. I had the procedure last Tuesday, there was no mention when I left if the potential for pain. The pain and bruising themselves aren’t bad ( paracetamol to get to sleep level only). I’m only really a concerned if

Anti inflammatories and Corvid
A neighbour who works for the nhs has just been sent a medical alert that they must not prescribe anti inflammatories for anyone with the virus as it makes the illness worse, especially in younger people. The exact post said "We have just been sent a medical alert that no one is to use anti inflammatories

Pain relief
Hi guys, Hoping I can get an idea of some approaches that people have found work for them with regards to pain relief. As we were trying for a child, I was just taking naproxen, paracetamol and tranexamic for pain relief whilst on my period. However, my quality of life has deteriorated so much we have

Health experts criticise NHS advice to take ibuprofen for Covid-19
The first mention of not taking ibuprofen (nurofen) that I was aware of came through in France the other day. I did NOT post because of conflicting views. Today we are seeing confirmation from several sources that taking ibuprofen for covid-19 is questionable. Hence I am now posting. Please read carefully

Asthma anti inflamatories
As an asthmatic on a pink preventative and a blue reliever which are anti inflamatories it worries me that the news states that if anti inflamatories are taken naming ibupofen is harder to cure Covid 19. The advice is to take paracetamol but what about anti inflammatory inhalers.

Anti inflammatory drugs should not be used for treating patients with Corona virus
I read on the NHS Corona virus stay at home advice, to use Paracetamol and IBUPROFEN . Yet, Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory and it can worsen the condition. They have advised not to use it in France if you have the Corona virus symptoms.

Where Are the Loo Rolls?
Toilet paper and paper towel shelves I my local supermarket. Sanitizer/soaps the same as are paracetamol and related products. There was also limited berries and frozen food. I had hoped things would be restocked by now. I did get some vodka (reduced) and Big Tom though! Vodka 🍷(bloody Mary)

Went to see a chiropractor
All I can say is this is the best thing I have ever done! My back pain has left me in bed for over a week ( I’m sure you’ve seen my other post) and I have suffered since I was 14/15 and I’m now 31! Iv had so many tests including and mri which showed no damage but the neurosurgeon said my pain was down

Prednisolone taper and arthritis flare
Ow, ow, ow! Feeling stupidly pleased at reduction to 7.5 then bam! osteoarthritic hip worse than ever. Waking me up at night when I try to turn over, barely hobbling this morning. Paracetamol not hitting it. Feeling exhausted and most sorry for myself. I think I’ve read that Pred can mask arthritis?

VISCERAL HYPERSENSITIVITY ?
Following 18 months of abdominal pain, an MRI revealed Diverticular Disease and the Consultant diagnosed IBS and DD. However, my BMs has always been completely normal, no D or C ever, thankfully. The almost- constant abdominal pain is barely relieved by 1000mg paracetamol. I read about Visceral
