Abdominal pain and now high amylase?
My partner already has family history. Now along with abdominal pain, he also has high amylase. I am not sure if amylase is an indicator of pancreatic cancer or not?

Abdominal pain- deep inside the abdomen?
My husband has had persistent abdominal pain deep inside the abdomen for a long time now. It's on the left side. He does have GI issues but he has had many of these for years. He has noticed some bowel changes though. Wondering if the pain deep inside the abdomen on the left side could be pancreatic

Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism and Chronic Pancreatitis
Hi everyone. It’s been a while since I posted on here. I’ve had Hypothyroidism and Hypoglycemia since I was in my early 20’s. Then in my 50’s I had the left side of my thyroid removed because of a fine needle biopsy done on nodules in the left thyroid that came back suspicious. At my follow up appointment

Colostrum Benificialand?
Is it supposed to hinder the growth of PC cells or promote it? I have a friend taking it every day who has metastatic PC and he believes in it.

Gemcitabine vs Topotecan
Hi all Was wondering if anyone had opinions or experience of whether Gemcitabine or Topotecan have advantages/disadvantages over each other? Either would be given together with Avastin on a weekly basis. My wife has been in discussions with our onc due to her High grade serous BRCA -ve recurrence

Why are there so few PC medical specialists? Why is PC knowledge among medical decision makers (Urologists, MO's) seemingly so limited?
Two serious questions, since so many people have their lives on the line with PC: 1. Many men develop PC during their lives. Why are there so few doctors who specialize in PC? * I have advanced PC, and I have spoken with 5 doctors, including a second opinion at MD Anderson in Jacksonville, FL.

How do I tell my family bad news?
On December 23rd I was told I have pancreatic cancer. I do not know how bad or what treatment I will get until I see the pancreatic surgeons in the next week or so. Only my husband knows, I do not know how to tell my children ( both in their 20's) my sister who I'm extremely close to and my brother.

Hello, I was diagnosed with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) earlier this year. I am taking ursodeoxycholic acid and all seems to be under control for now. I had pancreatitis in February this year and had a follow up scan in October. The scan showed an increase in my pancreatic duct. I had an ultrasound
