I had to se my GP following receiving a letter from my neurologist advising about the MSA & medication will be needed to be prescribed by them. It was 10 mins I won’t forget, he read the letter and then said ‘ I don’t know why they send you a copy, so misleading ‘probable’ might mean you don’t have

Mysterious chest pain
Hoping for someone experiencing similar issues. I have had excruciating upper left chest pain for over 5 weeks. My Gp has sent me to a and e twice because the symptoms match a heart attack. ECG bloods and chest X-ray all normal. Diagnosed first with Costochondritis and then Bornholm disease. No painkillers

LIDOCAINE 5% PAIN PATCHES
My sister-in-law has these patches for her back pain (she has a steel rod for a back), and one day at her house she gave me a few for my muscle spasms and nerve pain. They are miracle workers! I asked my doctor for a prescription. He said FDA only recognized them for permanent Shingle nerve pain. My

Amitriptyline & ADHD
Hi all, About a week ago, I started on amitriptyline for chronic pain, and since I about 2 days ago I've noticed my ADHD getting worse. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this with amitriptyline or any kind of similar pain medication? I know it's a shot in the dark haha, but figured

Feel like I'm getting no where
They are now telling me that I need a bowel scan and to be referred to
pain
management
as they are saying of not coping well. I'm currently on tramadol for the pain.

When will I stop being scared of an erection?
I’m curious about the different experiences people might have had, post circumcision, getting to that point where they’re no longer scared of an erection.I’m about two weeks after the surgery, and ever since, erections at night wake me up in pain. They pain had started out as unbearable - and I was on

Laparoscopy Update
Well it's been almost 3 weeks now since my laparoscopy and cystoscopy. I thought I'd wait a bit so I could give more information on my recovery in case it helps others who may be having the procedures. Apologies for the essay! Just for back ground, I had been suffering with more constipation than

How to manage severe symptoms of B12 deficiency?
My psychiatrist prescribed me mirtazapine 30 mg half every night and resperidone 1 mg. But since I take painkillers I didn't take resperidone because it's SSRIs ( selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) and it has severe interaction with NSIAD painkillers like naproxen and ibuprofen and causes gut bleeding
