So angry at this RA thing?
Does anyone else get angry at this RA disease? I’m finding myself getting so very angry at things, like the injection I have to have every week that makes me tired, but if I don’t have it I’m tired anyway but get swollen parts and pain. At the fact that my little granddaughter gets poorly and I can’t

Carboplatin/ Gemcitabine
Hello ladies I want to share my experience of carbo/gem and ask if you have had similar experiences or if you can shed some light on the problems I have had. I had the first gem/carbo last Thursday. I was fine at first but by Sunday I had excruciating abdominal pain. I rang the oncology triage on the

Sulphasazine
I saw both rheumatologist and ophthalmologist last week. Good news - I'm having cataract surgery under general anaesthetic. Apparently its high risk hence general. I'm also down on prednisolone from 15mg to 12.5mg. I'm hoping to be symptom free reducing by 2.5mg. Bad news - I'm now have to take sulpasazine

Sad Times 😞
We lost our beautiful Brodie Bear two weeks ago. I haven’t posted about it because we have been trying to keep busy but we are truly heartbroken. He was only off his food for a few days then violently sick over the Easter weekend and we took him to the emergency vets. To our horror he was in kidney failure

After that, the wound started to heal. within a few days after this happened, I got hit on scrotum that

Pain from Chemo attacking cancer?
Hi - I hope everyone is doing okay and enjoyed Easter. Just a quick query - I restarted another round of chemo and had the first on 28 March (carbo and doxil). Towards the end of last week I had a pain in my right side which increased and was really nasty over the weekend (is now easing off). I have

Bloodshot eye from a scratch now seems to be more bloodshot.
Hello all, A week ago I scratched the lower part of the white of my eye. The blood seemed to be diminishing, but several days ago when waking up the eye was painful, like very bad dry eye. Cool eye drops helped, but it is still sore and veins around the eye are more red. My vision doesn’t

What painkillers to use lovely people?
Hello you lot, me again, I’ve done my back in knocking up cement on Saturday, lower back, what painkillers do you guys use and is it ok to use ibuprofen with Af? I’m using cocodomol at the minute but it’s not quite doing the trick. Hope you’ve all had a better weekend than me 🤣.

Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide (TTFD) requires methylation
*** I ended up with High Blood Pressure taking TTFD. I no longer take TTFD. Based on my experience, I would not recommend TTFD. *** Excellent write up on Thiamine Tetrahydrofurfuryl Disulfide (TTFD) but I am unsure if it is a Methyl Donor or requires a Methyl Donor. https://www.eonutrition.co.uk/post

Traveling with Pegasys on airplane.
Any suggestions on traveling with Pegasys prefilled syringe? I know it needs to be stored at 36-46 degrees Fahrenheit.

Any eye problems?
Hi My husband who has PV has had sore, itchy eyes for a couple of weeks, with painful spots appearing on the edges of his eye lids. He went to the GP 2 weeks ago and was given a couple of different eye ointments (an antibiotic and a lubricant). However, the problems haven’t gone away so I’ve persuaded
