Subsidiary pacemaker exists in heart cells
I knew that every cell in our hearts is capable of producing an electrical signal but I found this article interesting in its possible view of future pacemaking. https://theconversation.com/backup-

I would love to try a

Help and advice please.
Father in law had a fall inside his bungalow, fell backwards onto a hard wood floor, the fall was attributed to heart arrhythmia, he had a
pacemaker
fitted for this. The fall caused a bleed on the brain, which it was decided by the neurosurgeon did not require an operation.

Mother in hospital with cardiac issues - thyroid patient
Her current results are: TSH: 0.30 (0.38-5.33) Free T3: 5.7 (3.5-6.2) Free T4: 4.5 (8-16) They now want to reduce her T3 further and they are discussing fitting a
pacemaker
. Of course her cardiac issues could be unrelated but it all seems strange timing to me.

Do I report AF to the DVLA/DVSA?
They are already aware of my
pacemaker
and the online form only mentions the fitting of an ICD, not AF.

AF out of the blue
I’ve printed the ecg off to show the pacing clinic when I go for my annual
pacemaker
check in 2 weeks time. I’m hoping
pacemaker
recorded it!! The last few days I’ve had a lot of high heart rates at rest I should have realised it may go into AF.

SVT treatment
I have been told that the procedure has some small associated risks and if things did not go well I would need a
pacemaker
. If it goes according to plan the condition will be rectified and there is a 95% success rate.

We need to move more quickly to focused ultrasound (FUS)
Since then, according to a publication of the Sage Social Studies of Science, DBS, which uses a
pacemaker
-like device to deliver constant electrical stimulation to areas within the brain, has been used to treat over 40,000 people with PD and Essential Tremor worldwide.

Any help appreciated ❤
Hello everyone ❤ I am 28 years old, 25 weeks pregnant and I've had a
pacemaker
for 3 years (due to complete heart block). I had a routine echo done alongside my
pacemaker
check last Thursday 25/02. It found that my heart rate was high and that I had an EF of 30%.

Is this phrenic nerve damage?
Two days later back in hospital with total heart block -
pacemaker
fitted against my will. Within four months heart block had resolved and
pacemaker
removed. Like I said - a dogs dinner...

My
pacemaker
kicks in when I sleep - but it does not seem to help when I am at my desk. I have just done an ECG, and my pulse if 57 - the
pacemaker
is supposed to keep it at at least 60.

Propafenon
I started taking propafenone 150 at the doctor's recommendation every 1 to 8 hours, for ventricular ectopics (extrasystoles) The problem is that my pulse drops a lot to 42-52 even though I have a
pacemaker
set to 65 beats! Could I take 1/2 of the tablet or 3/4? has anyone tried.? thanks!
