Pacemaker moved
I’ve had my
pacemaker
almost 11 months, the last few months I’ve been getting lots of discomfort and sometimes it’s very painful around my
pacemaker
. I’m seeing my cardiologist Tuesday about this problem, tonight it feels like it’s got closer to the surface as it looks and feels more prominent .

Dangerously low potassium
I am in permanent AF with a
pacemaker
, so I didn't really understand that. After 8 hours on a drip, my level was back to 3.6. They think it is the diuretics. I think it was the blood loss. Anyway I am to see my GP here tomorrow. Any thoughts?

ablation - types and pacemaker
Afib ablation involves the AV node and therefore a
pacemaker
is needed. Is everyone who had afib ablation on a
pacemaker
? Irrespective of any of the above, I believe and feel in my heart that the recovery period (7 days) told to me by the medics is wrong and for SVT it is more like 3 months.

Running post pacemaker
Does anyone know if my heart rate going higher than my
pacemaker
upper limit is going to cause me problems and what symptoms I would suffer which would suggest I need to have the
pacemaker
further tweaked. I felt fine during and after the run.

Pacemaker clinic advice
I recently has my
pacemaker
adjusted but asked for it to be put back to what it was before the settings. They did this but i don't feel much difference and feel they haven't put it back to what it originally was and I was not feeling like this. What do I do? Its stressing me out.

Geoffa1 ablation recovery
Had my 6 mth follow up echocardiogram,
pacemaker
read out and EP visit. Very positive outcome,
pacemaker
proves no AFIB since ablation and echocardiogram very good. No longer on beta blocker just Zarelto.

Change to my pacemaker
HI, i had a
pacemaker
check in September and due to an non sustained VT in the early hours whilst i was asleep the electrophysiologist increased my range from 50bpm to 140bpm where i used to be at 130bpm. She said that is all she changed, nothing else.

How often you get checked
I have a
pacemaker
/defibrillator in situ. How often my specialist should be checking on me and how soon I wonder I can be added to a transplant list (preliminary tests have been done already and ok). I’m terrified of just dying of sudden cardiac death :-(

Stomach issue's
I have AF and a
pacemaker
fitted. I have to have the camera down, there is either something wrong or the beta blockers are causing problems ( Could be either ) I don't want to have it done, had it done twice before and both experiences were horrendous.

Sick sinus syndrome and afib
Does this mean a
pacemaker
implant option must to be taken into consideration ? Can a
pacemaker
better control or even prevent AFib ? Note: holter ecg results have been reviewed by my cardiologist who said it's nothing to worry about. I don't trust my doctor.

Pacemaker and stents
Is it possible to have a
pacemaker
fitted at same time as having stents fitted following a heart attack. My hubby had HA in August and had 2 stents fitted. During 2 conversions with GP he is insisting hubby also has a
pacemaker
fitted.

Left Bundle Block complications.
I have a friend in his 70s who has just had a
pacemaker
fitted for a heart arrhythmia......and been diagnosed with Left bundle block. He was absolutely fine up until recently, except he had been getting a few palpitations and then passed out briefly and hit his head on the floor.

Vagal Nerve stimulation
Wouldn't it be great if just like a
pacemaker
we could have a vagal nerve implant to give it a jolt when it's thinking of doing it's dirty work!!! Pie in the sky I reckon!!

Pacemaker
I got a
pacemaker
implant too at age of 57 in april 20 . It took me 6 months to feel fully normal. The surgery site does not pain now or cause any discomfort, I can sleep on both sides . My doc said I can do everything after 6 months .

Pacemaker leads causing stenosis.
Has anyone with a
pacemaker
had stenosis problems caused by their
pacemaker
leads. Back in July, whilst on holiday in Cornwall, I noticed some marked swelling to my left arm. After contacting NHS 111 I was directed to Penzance hospital and then on to the Royal Cornwall in Truro.

Programming at 6 weeks check following upgrading of PPM and cardiac resynchronising.
It's only when I went for my first appointment for heart failure, my cardiologist detected atrial lead was malfunctioning and all this time my heart was functioning as a single lead fix rate
pacemaker
at constant rate of 60 bpm.
