Internal Tremors - a question
As many of you know, I have had a somewhat chequered journey with my AF and treatments but currently am happy with my status quo ie:
Pacemaker
which seems to help control AF and certainly lessens episodes, unless I have an infection.

My husband is nearly 66 and has to have
pacemaker
fitted in 2 weeks which came as a shock. He is in permanent af after having 2 cardioversions which worked for one year each. Dr didnt suggest another one. He also has an Artificial heart valve too put in 2005.

ICD - What does it feel like when it activates?
Hi, my wife has recently had
pacemaker
/icd fitted. She is very anxious about what she will experience when the ICD triggers and shocks. Does anyone have any experience of how it feels, i.e is it painful etc? Thanks in advance

Am I heading for full time AF
I was diagnosed with PAF 5 years ago and had a
pacemaker
fitted 3 years ago. My main attacks came during the night and could be quite disruptive . I have noticed over the last couple of weeks that I appear to be in nearly constant AF .

Update on my hybrid ablation
I also had an LAA occlusion My
pacemaker
recorded 87% af in the year before the procedure. It’s recorded 2.3% since. Not af free, but pretty good compared with how I was!

Tapping/thumping feeling by pacemaker
Had my pm in 2020, March 2nd had it repositioned . On and off all all day today every so often I keep feeling a fairly strong tap /thump where my pm is , I’m used to feeling the tapping when the pm run its checks every day but that’s only for 20 seconds then it stops completely . Strange sensation that

Awaiting test results.
Back in March my cardiologist requested I stop taking my meds 1.25mg of bisoprolol as he want to get a clear picture of my resting heart rate on its own meds free so requested a 3 day holter test and said I may need a
pacemaker
if its still low.

Failed fourth ablation
My husband just had his 4th ablation (first one was way back in 2007), surgeon just shrugged and said it was a no go, too much scarring from previous ones...told
pacemaker
next...so sad. He's in constant flutter mode right now and we don't know what to do?

Can't sleep 😢
Needless to say, when I was immediately admitted after the result was seen, and a
pacemaker
inserted it was all a bit of a shock.

How are others feeling after becoming pacemaker dependent?
I’m newly
pacemaker
dependent after having an AV Node ablation. I’m feeling out of breath with activity. Is that usual?

Pacemaker Monitor
Eventually after several calls to the hospital I managed to get an appt at
pacemaker
clinic and this took place last Friday. I was not told much beyond that that the
pacemaker
and battery are fine.
