Hello all. Being disabled with many things wrong with me I've also suffered with RLS all my life. I'm 51 now. Orchiectomy
Been very busy with my new house so I'm just getting around to reporting on my orchiectomy. Bottom line: no more Lupron. Ever. Testosterone now <5. Hot flashes short and mild. Cold flashes not a problem. Procedure was straightforward and done at Strong Hospital here in Rochester, NY. I do wish

Panic Attacks and Intense Anxiety after weaning off Ropinirole
Did any one out there find that they had severe anxiety or panic attacks immediately after weaning off Ropinirole? I was so proud to finally be off of that medication and 3 days later I am having horrible panic attacks. I had a few episodes of anxiety a few years ago but have managed without medications

Anyone using Oxycodone?
I've had severe RLS for years, but I also have Ankylosing Spondylitis so I'm on Tremadol for the pain (can't take anti inflammatories due to stomach problems) the doctors have tried me on lyrica, amitriptyline and ropinirole most recently. I've only been on it for maybe a month but I think I've already

Change in plans - looks like neuroendocrine
From my last post, I had an allergic reaction 15 minutes into my first dose of Docetaxel - part of a clinical trial combining Docetaxel and Xofigo (Radium-223). Two weeks later, I had a second reaction despite additional precautions (oral decadron 3 days prior, IV Benadryl and Decadron immediately prior

A non-blog update
Sadly, I haven't been well enough to write a proper blog post that's up to my standards, but am functioning well enough to give a quick update. It's been a 1,013 days since my original prostate cancer diagnosis, so I missed the magic milestone of 1,000 days to do something special. It's also been about

Ongoing updates--back pain, MRI, and AMG 509
I had MRIs done on the Lumbar, Thoracic, and Cervical spine. I ended up doing it at Jefferson Methodist Hospital. It took close to 4 hours and was an ordeal, but I managed to stay still and get very good images. The technician said he has never had anyone get through that long without moving or quitting

Morning everybody. I am looking for a quality CBD oil Any experiences please 😊
I am soon to be starting Temgesic for my restless limbs. Can anyone recommend a good quality CBD oil to help with any restlessness I may experience crossing over from my current Oxycodone med? I recognise that I may not need it, but just in case. Also the pain doctor recommended that I occasionally

Thank you all so much for your advice. My husband recalled I had lidocaine patches for a previous problem so today I have put on patch and along with oxycodone and paracetamol have coped better today. Still got pain but slightly less acute. I let you all know how tomorrow goes. More of the same I’m

Life after Ropinirole.
Hello. I've had RLS my whole life. 30 years ago I was put on prozac for depression. My RLS got a bit worse but it wasn't a huge problem until I started hormone replacement. My symptoms became chronic and I started taking Ropinirole without any knowledge of the horrors of this drug. Three years ago, after

My sister has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I'm new here so would appreciate any information given.
My younger sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the begining of March this year. What an absolute shock that was. Obviously devastated. I have joined this forum to try to understand the treatments and just what she is going through. She was diagnosed with stage 3c, and I have to say they were
