Travelling tips for tinnitus
Hi everyone, as post-Covid symptom, 2 weeks ago I developed tinnitus. I mention this as I read there's a Covid - Tinnitus page on the website, in case it's helpful for someone else. Covid has left my whole body so stiff which is something I don't normally have as I practice a lot of dance/yoga. I

Which Covid booster should I be given? (Ended up being rushed into hospital 2 1/2 hours after last Pfizer one as I couldn't walk)
I am diabetic type 2, asthmatic, suffer Uti's , and a distended stomach and been in hospital 4 times in the last year with suspected heart problems and had heart monitor implanted, so most concerned about Covid booster. Have written to surgery but no reply as yet. Is there more than 1 booster

Covid isolation and lack of social development.
No it's not a Covid, the virus, post, it's about the mental & emotional health effects of the last few years for the general population and the possible analogy to some of us who've had a TBI. Although I've left work this year (after 40 years of just putting in the time) I did work at home from 2020

Sick day rules and Covid
There have been a number of posts recently concerning the above topic. Assuming that I have followed the correct link ,the document attached detailing the sick day rules is dated October 20. Since the latest variant, Omicron ,which was first reported in the UK in November 21 ,is generalIy

Positive Covid Test!!!
I cannot believe it I’ve tested positive for covid thought it was a chest infection and cause of grief through losing Mollie - the cough and sneezing and sore throat led me to believe it could be covid - and it is? I sent the results to nhs and apparently they’ll call me to get the meds to me even though

Advice please
After 9 years since GCA diagnosis & finally down to 3.5mg prednisolone, I was beginning to feel that my GCA was going into remission. Then I contracted Covid a month ago & was very poorly despite being fully vaccinated. It took 3 weeks to recover but now I seem to have gone right back to square one with

Covid again!
For the last 10 days or so I've had a tickly cough, which turned into a chesty cough. I did a few Lateral flows, which were negative. I'm sitting on the sofa thinking why do I feel so B12ish? Its only a cough! Daughter has Cystic Fibrosis and went downhill very quickly and ended up in hospital with

Covid Shot, benefit of side effects
I got my 4th shot two days ago. I had been waiting for the bivalent (Omicron Ba.5 + Wuhan-Hu-1) since only Omicron is out there now. I also waited for the Moderna version since it is a higher dose, as discussed in various posts before. This recent report found side effects are useful, although they

covid and ‘the itch’
I posted a few months ago that my itch had returned. I didn’t think at the time to say I had just recovered from covid - so - two weeks after testing positive the itch returned but 6 weeks later the itch had gone. I am just assuming that covid messed with something because I am fine. So pleased rux

A Dilemma
I've had PMR for just over 2 years and up until May this year I have been able to reduce my prednisolone down to 2 mg. Since May I have had 3 flares and following the Forums instructions increased the dosage by 5mg for about a week then back down to 2.5 mg which seemed to work. 3 weeks ago, I got my

Finally got Covid
So it’s 3:00 in the morning here. I can’t sleep because my chest is so congested. I’ve had fever 4 nights in a row. I’m also taking a lot of medication which is making me nauseous because I have no appetite. Just wanted to vent. This is my first time getting Covid but I know others have experienced

6th COVID jab side effects
Hello! I had my 6th vaccine 4 weeks ago. I was told it targeted 2 strains of COVID. I had that in one arm and flu jab in the other as directed by our health centre. I've had small side effects from some of the other vaccines but only lasted a few days at most. This time I am still really tired, constant
