Need advice on next step, FET, more research or more IVF
Hi all, I hope you can give me some advice on what our next ivf step should be. I'm a 38 year old with a POI/POF diagnosis. I've now had 3 rounds of IVF with minimal and often disappointing results. 1st round: 2 eggs, 1 fertilized and is now a 5 day old cryo. 2nd & 3rd round: 1 egg, failed to fertilize

Covid Treatment besides antivirals?
My husband tested positive for covid this morning and is on an antiviral medication. I emailed my EP and asked if I would be able to take an antiviral if I should catch it from my husband. Because my medications include Xarelto, Atorvastatin and Digoxin , he said he would not want me on an antiviral

Its odd healthcare workers recognise B12 issues from drug abuse but not PA patients….. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-64718233 Feel like printing this one out to give the GP and ask why the young are treated and we are refused help.

Post Covid Queries!
Hi! I tested positive for Covid 2 weeks ago… it’s caused an asthma flare but luckily I got prescribed steroids for a week which, along with my Fostair and Ventolin inhalers, kept things stable enough for me to stay home. My GP signed me off for a further week after my 1st week of self certifying, however

IVF stories
I have enjoyed my new clinic, especially during the wait times before going into each procedure. I was able to spend some time with other women also heading to their own procedure (EC or ET) and listen to their stories. One lady is 48 and had tried multiple times; met her husband later in life. Had

Post Covid/Long Covid with Bronchiectasis
Hi all Just looking for some advice, I went away for a short break to Spain in early October, anyway when I came back I had caught Covid, on the plane I'm guessing, as I was ok whilst I was there. I knew having mild Bronchiectasis that I would probably be in trouble, however the actual covid, wasn't

First COVID Antibody Test
I just got the results back from my first COVID antibody test. It said that my antibody level is 150. Is this a decent level? It is difficult to find much information on this. I am trying to see if I can feel a little secure if we have family over for Christmas. I will probably wear a mask and

covid vaccine induced platelet disorders
https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/fda-researchers-find-pfizer-covid-vaccine-linked-blood-clots-ages-65 I was diagnosed 6 months after receiving my 2nd pfizer shot. When I asked my hematologist about the connection he saw none. I'd be curious how many others were diagnosed with ET

Covid
I caught covid, but am doing well now and back to working from home. One of my housemates have caught it now. Hopefully I can go away at Christmas but will have to wait and see, my parents are retired and Mum suffers health problems. I am looking forward to 2 weeks off work. I started doing a computer
