Some light at the end of the tunnel....
Hi ladies Hope you are all well and enjoying the recent glorious sunshine we have been blessed with here in the UK. In my last post I mentioned that I felt bad for not replying to other posts with advise as I was relatively new to this and helping my wife get through her recent Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer

Currently on Avastin. Hands seizing up badly and Painful stiff shoulders. Anyone had the same?
Hello ladies, I hope you are all managing to keep safe during this time, and all have your grocery and medication deliveries sorted! I had 6 x taxol and carbo wich finished in December 2019. I've been having Avastin since my 2nd chemo infusion. Avastin is continuing but I've had to postpone #13 infusion

NCSLC with brain mets drugs
I know its hard to give an advice on drugs to a patient just like this but any information would be great at this point that could help me to choose the path for my Dad. He has been on Keytruda for 18 month with good progress with PDL1 positive. Last week he was told that he has LEPTO and he is starting

CA125 fluctuations on avastin
Hi all, i hope everyone is keeping well during this difficult time. i was just wondering what kind of fluctuations in CA125 did people with high grave serous ovarian cancer( stage 3) experience while on avastin as maintenance- without it signalling a recurrence. My CA125 has been 3 for about a year

Anyone else have this happen?
Hi. I have clear cell ovarian cancer, the fun one. I have had the hysterectomy, oopherotomy whatever...in other words, there is nothing left there. I completed the standard carboplatin, taxol and avastin. I am on maintenance Avastin. My latest bloodwork shows CA125 increasing and gyno-oncologist

Chemotherapy again!!! 😜😕🙄
Hello ladies, I am now on chemotherapy after 6 years again. I did radiotherapy before 3 years cause of bone Mets, since then I took Ibrance for 2,5 years and Femara. Before 3 months at my 6months scans and labs, we found new Mets in bones so my doctor decide to start chemo and a new pill 'Aromestan'.

POST SURGERY CHEMOTHERAPY
Hi, My wife is 57 and was diagnosed with 3c ovarian cancer last december. We had conflicting advice. Our local hospital proposed 6 chemo cycles followed by monitoring and possibly avastin. We got a second opinion and we were advised to go for 3 cycles of chemo ,surgery and 3 more cycles. We decided this

First line treatment and Avastin - advice please
Hi Ladies, I hope everybody is staying safe, and coping ok in these difficult times. I’m really aware that some people are having a desperately hard time with treatments being cancelled or postponed, and I hope that my post isn’t insensitive in anyway. I’m really hoping you won’t mind me picking your

Endometrial Cancer- 8 months remission-after 4 years trying
Hi friends, As we all worry and deal with covid-19 pandemic, I thought it would be good to share some success I have been having, mostly because I never expected this much success...even though I remain open to the idea that my cancer can recur. I am in remission about 8 months! My doc always said he

‘Fighting’ for an injection
On Wednesday my eye clinic phoned me, at first I thought it was to confirm my eye injection appointment the next day but instead it was a lady saying my consultant says I don’t need an injection for 4 months. So I made my case. I am in my very early 50’s I have DMO not AMD I only have 1 useable eye now

What I am doing to prevent possible Corona virus infection and complications.
I have been taking supplements for the last 10 years especially Vitamin C. Presently, I am taking 8000 mg spread out throughout the day. It is criminal that the allopathic community is ignoring the benefits of this supplement while people are dying needlessly. Don't take my word for it but listen to

Liver enzymes super high
Hello fellow warriors, I have completed only 1 cycle of chemo for first reoccurrence. I am on Carbo, Gemzar, and Avastin. I could not start my second cycle due to low wbc’s. So I had two weeks off of chemo. In that time my liver enzymes ate through the roof. They went from 57 to 457 in that time

Hi ladies, has anyone had a Hartmann’s Reversal?
Hello lovely ladies. I hope you are all managing the social distancing and self isolating okay - like we need the extra challenge! I’m 9 months post op, completed first line chemo and now having Avastin until September. I still have a small lesion on my liver but I’m hoping Avastin will keep it at
