CT scan shows multiple liver metastases.
Hello ladies. I hope everyone is as well as can be. I had a CT scan of chest, abdomen and pelvis yesterday afternoon. I had not expected the results until Monday or Tuesday, but the report posted yesterday evening and shows multiple tumors on liver. I’m not surprised. I meet with the new oncologist

Overactive Bladder after SBRT
Hello all! I had my SBRT almost a year ago. I have noticed over the last few months my bladder has been in overdrive. Could this be a result of SBRT? Anyone have a similar experience. What does the research say? (4/6/2022-Just wanted to add I finally discovered I have IBS-Irritable Bowel Syndrome and

Post lap bellybutton
Hi, I'm 2 weeks post lap and curious if anyone else feels as if their bellybutton stitch is/was pulling down and causing pain? I have been to dr and have a mild wound infection so on antibiotics atm. This pulling down feeling seems to put pressure on my bladder and cause urethra shooting pain when urinating

Latest Axumin scan - onwards to Cabazitaxel 😁
Hey gang, Latest scan showed a new spot on left of prostate and the same 1cm iliac lymph node with high uptake. Also maybe another suspicious area So, Kaiser MO has agreed to 6 Cabazitaxels, starting on 10/29/21 and monitoring the PSA, possibly adding Carboplatin after the 2nd or 3rd session. This

The “C” word is now being used by prominent oncologists
This past week I’ve heard the word “cure” used twice for the first time in my 9+ year battle with metastatic prostate cancer. Two prominent research oncologists used this word…one of whom is my oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the other is a colleague in the same department. It’s all about immunotherapy

Can PSA be determined from the blood clots that are produced in from radiation cystitis?
Hubs had RARP 2014; IMRT & ADT 2016 for recurrence. He's now experiencing low but increasing (doubling) PSA. Simultaneously, having second bout of radiation cystitis, using Foley to dilate urethra. But blood clots are being produced. Just wondering if that sloughed off tissue (from bladder/urethra

Are We Out Of The Woods For A While?
It has been a roller coaster of a few months. After a hemi-ablation HIFU In Germany (4/11/19) Alan had a great nadir of 0.19. Men with that kind of result have a 96% chance of not having a recurrence within five years of treatment. It stayed like that for a year and then increased to .80 in May of 2020

Methotrexate a cause for UTI??
I had symptoms of a UTI back in July. Usual procedure followed. Stop Mxt take antibiotics, but it didn't clear up. My GP said that a rare side effect of Mxt is inflammation of the bladder and as urine test didn't show infection it could be my meds. At first rheumatology would have none of it and told

Overactive bladder / impaction / something else?
My 3.5yr old (daytime toilet trained for over a year, uses nappy at night which are always wet) is having loads of daytime wetting accidents with small wet patches often appearing on her pants just 30mins or less after she's had a wee (which grow if we don't get her to the toilet fast). The more she
