Another setback - back to Week 3
Another week, another stumbling block. Having being stopped three times due to illness since I began this back in March, 10 days ago I suffered spinal pain which put me out of action again. Each day that went past made me more and more anxious that my progress was being undone. I had been on a roll

What causes a relapse when you've done nothing wrong? How to avoid anymore relapses?
I think I may of asked this question before but I dont remember. I know one thing, I seriously miss my mild tinnitus so bad. I miss even waking up alot a couple months ago with no tinnitus and would have mild tinnitus in the mornings even though it would slowly increase to moderate by bedtime. I know

Experiences of amphotericin?
Small person is off to 5* on Friday for her fortnight of the ‘good stuff’, a little earlier than planned although mostly ok overall, but with the addition of amphotericin alongside IV colomycin and piptaz. I’ll post a proper update soonish, as there’s been quite a bit going on even with lockdown happening

4am wake up daily. Tinnitus
Hi I have been living with severe tinnitus (both ears) since 2013 usually I manage with distractions etc. Since lockdown ( I have to self shield 12 weeks) I am waking at 4am -4.10am every morning. It doesn’t matter what time I go to bed. I am struggling to cope with it and feel I’m losing 2-3 hours sleep

Woke up with Tinnitus
One morning in mid-April, I woke up with a loud, sharp ringing and a feeling of fullness in my left ear. My immediate reaction was "oh no, another ear infection" because I had had a very nasty one about 18 months ago. I quickly made an appointment with my general practitioner, but when I saw him, he

Otosclerosis - Questions for Otologist (interview)?
Am planning to interview an Otolaryngologist this Saturday morning as part of an educational website I am building on Otosclerosis. He has done more than 125 surgeries for Otosclerosis. Please post suggestions for questions here. Obviously, questions that are useful for the wide audience would be better

How do I manage this strange sensation at night and not feel completely exhausted during the day? Blocked eustachian tube advice
It's been a while since I posted on the forum as I have been coping reasonably well with my very unpredictable tinnitus. However, I have developed a new complication which is almost worse than tinnitus if that's possible and it is driving me mad, so once again, I am turning to members for advice. Last

Recent FND Diagnosis Following Many Symptoms That Started After Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Hello. New here. I left a post on this issue over on the Tinnitus forum as well, as my symptoms started out with tinnitus. In October of last year, I had my wisdom teeth extracted (at age 45). I was given gas, also prescribed a five day steroid pill pack following the procedure. The lower left tooth

Is this tonic tensor tympani?
It could be part of my loud low drone tinnitus but it's quite bothersome. I been waking up the past few days with a loud thumping in the back of my head and neck that lasts a few minutes. When my low tinnitus is very loud then I get a loud vibrating feeling in my head. My tinnitus got worse after a cold

I had my quarterly visit with my neurologist as "telemedicine" last Friday.
