Coconut oil has improved my life
I am 74 years old and I have Parkinson's, diagnosed 3 1/2 years ago and am under conventional drug treatment by Mayo Clinic. A year ago, while taking Mirapex Er (3mg) and Azilect (1Mg), my symptoms had progressed to severe slowness, unsteadiness, chronic stiffness and joint pain, frequent freezing episodes

The only way forward for chronic pain sufferers is alternative medicine -
osteopathy
, chiropractics and acupuncture, which should be available free on the NHS, they are the only things that help.

L Tryptophan - Anyone had success please?
I have cranial
osteopathy
, but still I hit these crisis times of no sleep at all & I cannot make sense of why. I find it so difficult to assess where this insomnia is originating from.

This is a first for me, as I have previously never come out of any hands-on treatment (physio,
osteopathy
, acupuncture, massage, injections) without feeling (a) like I've been run over by a steam roller and (b) like I've come round from an anaesthetic.

Have had RA since 2005. Recently have nerve pain down right leg which eases up after walking . Think it is lower spine, not hip, problem.
would
osteopathy
help... or should I find a physiotherapist?

Feeling of being unbalanced?
I've had four sessions of
osteopathy
which I think is helping a bit but iti's a day by day thing and affects my confidence so I don't like going far from home. I don't take any tablets as they have not helped over the last 20 yrs when I've tried them and just make the above feelings much worse.

Symptoms getting worse
I've managed to cope without taking meds and have had lots of
osteopathy
, which really helped. But, over the last 4 months my symptoms seem to be coming back and are worse than they were! I've been to the Dr with a long list of symptoms but she just wants to treat me for anxiety.

Back to being a patient?
They're suggesting
osteopathy
& / or acupuncture. I've had both in the past (for quite a long time) but they weren't very successful. Now I feel a bit nervous. I'm going to have to go through the process of explaining my medical history all over again.

Recommendations for RLS treatment in London please?
Has anybody had any experience of treatment for RLS from either
Osteopathy
, Accupuncture or any other alternative therapy? If so, could you recommend anyone in the London area? Many thanks.

Has anyone tried Chiropractic and Osteopathy treatments or Acupuncture?
None of the conventional RLS meds work for me so I need to try alternatives. Reflexology and Pilates help, but I wondered if anyone has tried anything else?

Hi there, I have just discovered the site and wanted to ask if anyone has had similar migraine experiences to me?
I have tried a mouth guard, hypnotherapy and
osteopathy
which have not worked. I use sumitriptan for migraine which usually works but I often get the symptoms back. I wondered if anyone had any advice on anything else I haven't tried. I have gone through all medication options.

A little bit of hope perhaps
Chiropractic/
osteopathy
might have benefits. Mum also receives regular (free) Reiki treatments...there are plenty of people offering their services free these days on the internet.
