When is Provenge indicated?
Officially my husband is castrate sensitive (but PSA is trending upward on
Orgovyx
). After Axumin in February 2020 when PSA was just over 2 there were a couple of spots of activity in his prostate bed on the right side where margins were positive and one iliac node.

Why are cardiac effects different for GnRH agonists and antagonists?
I've always been troubled by the observation that GnRH agonists (like Lupron, Gosarelix, Zoladex, and Triptorelin) had a high risk of cardiotoxicity while GnRH antagonists (Firmagon and
Orgovyx
) did not. Why should they be different if they both lower testosterone?

Relugolix / Orgovyx
Anyone having issue with obtaining Relugolix? Not the script/prescription by your oncologist, but after that... How did you get it? Local pharmacy? Or is it something else, direct drop ship from manufacturer of drug? I'm having difficulty... My MO has prescribed it and for the last week have been getting

Is this castrate resistance?
In April he switched to
Orgovyx
from Firmagon. Just got newest results after a month of
Orgovyx
his T is at 7, but PSA is at 0.17. ☹️ Thinking I want to find new provider. Which regional prostate cancer specialist / cancer center would be our best bet if we are in Nashville?

Higher AST and ALT levels, from Covid vaccine nanoparticles or from Orgovyx ADT pills, or both
The increase is probably a combination of the
Orgovyx
and the Vaccine. Lupron never raised my liver enzymes AST ALT levels.

Does anyone know if orgovyx can be stopped and Firmagon be restarted seamlessly?
My husband’s doctor has suggested he switch from Firmagon to
orgovyx
. He was due for a Firmagon dose yesterday. PSA is at 0.12. We are not sure what the copay will be with his WellCare Part D. Originally we signed him up w Aetna Part D and it was transitioned into WellCare.

Anyone taking Orgovyx (ADT)? If so, how do you compare your side effects to Lupron?
Are you taking
Orgovyx
(ADT)? If so, how do you compare your side effects to Lupron? I will share my experience after I hear what others have to say. There may not be more than a couple of you taking it, since it just entered the market recently.

RP, ADT and Radiation.....when can I stop ADT?
So, 8/2019 had RP, PSA 8.6, GL 9, T2N1M0, Decipher High - got to undetectable in 6 weeks...then a slow rise over a year to PSA .16...started ADT - Firmagon 10/2020, switched to
Orgovyx
2/2021...PSA went to undetectable almost immediately on Firmagon...has stayed there and T stays in teens. 1/2 way

Effects on the gut and heart of Orgovyx (Relugolix) vs Lupron
How does the
Orgovyx
(Relugolix) affect the gut microbiome since you are swallowing it as opposed to an injection of Lupron? 2. The NP told me that
Orgovyx
(Relugolix) is less stressful on your heart than Lupron. Any idea if thats true?

Info I received from Myovant Sciences on Orgovyx
I went to website Orgovyx.com and then called their info number (833-674-6899) and then got referred to their "Medical Team", which turned out to be a pharmacist. I requested product info and links for clinical studies. They sent me an email with the drug insert as an attachment and a cover letter.

Has anyone actually been able to obtain Orgovyx (Regulox)?
Sharp healthcare's pharmacy says it isn't listed in their system, CVS gives me a price of $1800 for 90 days ($20/tablet) but has no idea when it will actually be available here in San Diego.
