Now what?
I'm allergic aspirin/ibuprofen type pain relief, which doesn't leave me many options, and when my lungs are struggling it's important to drop or at least reduce meds like codeine,
oramorph
and matrifen patches, and this leaves me with amitriptyline and duloxetine, which is pretty tough going generally

Oramorph?
My consultant suggests I try this to help with breathlessness.I,ve had a lot of opiates over the years for various reasons, always thought they were constrictive. Some older post seem to say it,s none addictive,I find that very hard to believe.Any recent views?D.

Help!!!
The MST worked fab but doesn't touch the sides when I'm having a flare up,so we were Considering
oramorph
as PRN (when needed) as fibromyalgia pain is bad enough andto top it off i have sciatica.

Why does it seem that all I do is moan
I did ask why they had not given it to my mum and I was told " it had been left on the side", which is worrying as it had my
Oramorph
in. And lastly which has really put me in a downward spiral is last September I was referred by the pain team for acupuncture and was told there was a bit of a wait.

nhs gone mad
I have my pain relief of morphine and mst at home and can take my
oramorph
every 2 hrs if I need it, so when I was in hospital it was nearly 7 hrs before I got anything I think this is really a strange way to treat patients , does anyone agree with.

Help please
I am on
oramorph
daily because of the pain, but sometimes that isn't enough. I am struggling to work but I need to pay my bills and rent etc. I'm worried and I'm scared of messing up my rent etc. Is there anything I can do? I work with children so I can't be on morphine and work.

Was in hospital last week to get my medication changed. Also I have another Wheelchair Assessment & PIP Application Form!
But apparently what he meant was I won't be able to take anything as strong as OxyNorm &
Oramorph
are only short term pain killers. So I'm still slightly confused about that comment. (**But we won't get into me overdosing at the moment.

When returning endo isn't actually endo: results of my 2nd lap, help for those in similar situations and advice on treament/clinics :)
After 8/9 weeks I finally saw an endo specialist/consultant, by this point I had spent some time in A&E as the pain was so severe I was collapsing, so I now had
Oramorph
added to my list of medication.

Sleep deprivation!
And I have to resist her asking for her
oramorph
or lorazepam medication unnecessarily as she knows they are sedatives as a side effect. She asks for them so she doesn't wake me rather than for herself so much.

Has anyone used Fentanyl (or any nasal spray/lozenges for pain relief)?
Yes, I have tried every other drug and diet and therapy that could possible help with IBS before being abandoned with
Oramorph
despite my reservations about a lifetime on morphine at only 30 years old...
