Opiates used to help DA withdrawal
Is there any article which states that using an opiate can help with DA withdrawal i know we always give that advice when advising anyone who needs to wean off a DA. It’s what i advise when helping someone on a fb group. Today someone said it wouldn’t help so i am hoping there is an article i can show

I don’t understand my diagnosis as it’s changed from being overdosed by opiates (hospital error). Now it’s change.
All my different consultants got together and realised that I was on so much
opiates
which it caused my liver to fail. Obviously it was serious & the whole of my body to swell.

Rectovaginal endo surgery and bowel symptoms remaining
I stopped
opiates
the week after op ( managed on paracetemol thereafter but barely needed any the past few days). However I have struggled to pass stools since (I can defecate but its either diarrhoea or Constipated).

Currently is stable and her care team have now started to slowly decreasing the amount of sedatives and

Attitudes to people using opiates
We all have a back story. I know nobody wishes to be thought of as a drug addict. But there may be members with RLS who are recovering drug addicts, or alcoholics trying to get their lives back on track, and needing support from this forum. Its a sensitive are. I hope I haven't offended or upset anyone

Lost confidence
I've always been the main driver and when I started taking strong
opiates
for spinal problems I booked an assessment with the Institute for advanced motorists to be sure the meds were not affecting my reactions. Passed with flying colours. Now, since my heart attack I've totally lost confidence.

After more than 20 years on
opiates
my digestive system has slowed right down. I have laxatives daily and still can't "go". A huge amount of my chronic pain is from bowel adhesions . The pain gets far worse when I can't go properly.

Apparently, they both work synergistically and: voila ! PaIn AlL gOnE ! I explained that initially, I was on pregabalin for rls and that

Opiate use
I hope to have an appointment soon to determine that cause of my urination issues. Supposed to be a better urologist. In the mean time I am having quite severe pain that makes it difficult to concentrate. The pain also seems to cause spasms making me feel like i nee to pee all the time. A big part of

Buprenorphine, Nausea & Zofran (Ondansetron)
I successfully take 0.4 mg day buprenorphine to treat RLS but the nausea side effect is very troublesome and there does not seem to be a satisfactory plan to get the better of it. I have unsuccessfully tried many anti nausea drugs and methods including Symprove probiotic and seem to be left with only

Pain Relief that isn’t opiate based. Help!
My stage 4 HGOC with mets on bowel (miliary disease) among other places and has now become painful. I was given morphine but it put me into bowel obstruction so I am now too scared to have any opiate based painkillers. Has anyone found any other pain relief that works and doesn’t slow the bowel?

I think Tramadol has caused my RLS
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'd love some advice, please. I have MS - I was diagnosed in the late 90s. I'm lucky that it hasn't affected me badly (yet), but I do suffer from pretty severe nerve pain. I managed it with Co-Codamol 30/500 for years. I'd been prescribed 8 per day but rarely took more

THE WAR AGAINST PRAMIPEXOLE
This is a progress report in my battle to quit Pramipexole: TIME: I have done just 6 days on a reduced amount of Pramipexole ( one 0.088 tablet at night ) This allows me to sleep for most of the night. PLAN: to stay on one tablet for the next 10-14 days, then move to half a tablet for the next 10-14

Opioid prejudice at the pharmacy
At my local chemist, there are a few members of staff who are rude and hostile towards patients who are prescribed
opiates
. I pick up my prescription every month. When I go in these staff members can be hostile and very rude.

Update finally on treatment
Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am finally on treatment, it took nearly 4 months from dx to treatment (due to moving from South Carolina to Seattle area). I am on Ibrance (Dec. 13th) and letrozole (Nov. 16th). And I am on palliative care for pain management since I have neuropathy in my left arm and hand
