HRT
A few months ago I saw a menopause specialist privately who upped my
oestrogen
and added some testosterone. At a review last week I asked if she thought micronised progesterone could help my sleep (not terrible, but could be better) she thought it worth a try so prescribed some *whispers*.....

Endo and perimenopause: what treatment?
How is endo (i.e high
oestrogen
) treated with medication, and also suffering from perimenopause symptoms (i.e either
oestrogen
dominance and/or low
oestrogen
). I wanted to know what type of medication could be prescribed?

Anyone else in my position or similar? 38.1st failed ICSI attempt. Never been a mum before.
Finding it tough to find anyone in my situation. I know I've posted LOADS but I find this site such tremendous support. I feel so out of my depth with ivf and I'm a bit of a novice by all accounts. I'm 38, naturally high AMH with no underlying issues. Most of the stories I see on here are low AMH, PCOS

Large follicles, high oestrogen levels at baseline scan
The clinic took blood tests and called me to say that my consultant isn’t happy to proceed as my
oestrogen
levels are high, so to call again on day 1 of my next cycle so they can rescan. Has anyone has this before and been able to proceed the following month?

Update of second round of IVF ❤️
So we have been on treatment for 3 weeks, I have been taking progynova pills, plus
oestrogen
patches, which I have been placing on my thighs.. they are sticky little buggers! Feels like a waxing strip when I have to remove it and use a new one! Ouch!

Dr Bickerstaff -London lupus centre
The centre admin have told me she is focussed on ivf/fertility issues in lupus/rheum conditions-and my issues are that my lupus seems to be attacking sources of
oestrogen
in my body (ovaries become inflamed each month when
oestrogen
is high :( v distressing as I’m 32 and wanted kids).

How was your endometriosis during/after IVF - advice for 1st timer? Scared!
Seems absurd to put me on
oestrogen
since I have endometriosis, right? My first scan is due next week I have already a headache since yesterday night - I'm petrified my endometriosis will worsen and that the pain will come back with all these hormones!!

5DP3DT - 2WW - symptoms question
Hi wonderful support community I made a little shrine/altar today for my four little embabies. Two boy shells, two girl shells, lovely smelling oils, sparkly pineapple, a Greek coin and a photo of my four. Feels nice to be shining a light on them. I have a boob question :) my nipples are out of control

Bleeding @12w after stopping estrogen/progesterone
Hi, I’m 12w pregnant after a FET. I had a pinkish-brownish spotting between week 4 and 9 but doc told to worry only if it was bright red. I was taking 8mg per day of estrogen (progynova) + 800 mg per day of progesterone (Utrogestan) + injection 25 mg Lubion (progesterone). Fertility clinic told me to

When to stop taking Progynova (oestrogen) after a successful IVF cycle?
I'm currently still on Progynova (
oestrogen
) pills twice a day and Utrogestan pessaries (progesterone) 3 times a day. When we had our first scan at 7 weeks, the doctor said to keep taking both until 12 weeks, but at our scan today the nurse said we can stop the progynova now.

Unresponsive endometrium
Anyone been told they have unresponsive endometrium? I have 4 frozen top grade embryos but my cycle cancelled due to thin lining, after a hysterscopy that ruled out Ashermans I’ve been told my uterus just doesn’t respond to Estrogen. I’m petrified that this is the end of the road.

Evie, Stevie, Rufus and Doofus (Evie is only real name here - I wouldn't really call my baby a doofus :) )
Four little embabies on board. All perfect 8 cells on day three. Saw the NHS odds for IVf success at 43... 3.8% so praying these four can help my odds and deliver a healthy baby. Not really sunk in yet but I can’t share with many people due to sick parents and husband’s ex wife and step kids. But I

Prostap pain
However the pain in my pelvis and back is beyond imaginable and I'm not sure if this is normal as I know it makes Endometriosis worse before it gets better with the
oestrogen
however I literally feel like admitting myself into hospital and refusing to leave until I have my laparoscopy as it isn't until

Thyroxine and fluctuating hormones
For example, I know that taking extra
oestrogen
can mean you need extra thyroxine. I currently have no periods as I’m breastfeeding a 1 year old; they didn’t return for 2 years last time. But I suspect some fluctuations in hormones. I’m currently on my lowest dose ever of thyroxine.

FDA-Approved Treatments for HR+, HER2- Premenopausal Patients
Last week, I posted a list of FDA-approved treatments for HR+, HER2- postmenopausal US patients. Below is the list of FDA-approved treatments for HR+, HER2- premenopausal patients. I finalized this list of treatments with a Medical Oncologist at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY, and it is available

Any had sinus pressure?
Hey everyone! I'm just curious, over the past few years I've had these episodes of intense face pressure and fullness, mostly in my maxillary and also intense jaw soreness. My face is also a little warm to the touch, but no fever. Also, there is not much actual congestion or clogging, it just feels super

Oral progesterone 10 or 25 days a month?
I'd like to hear from those of you on oral progesterone, especially bio-identical as I'm not sure progestins are taken the same way. I have taken Utrogestan 200 mg for ten days a month (day 15-25 of cycle) for the past few years (along with Estrogel day 5-25). A few months ago, my doctor suggested I

Thin lining, failed FET
Hi, This is the first time I've posted as I feel like I need some positive words fron people who understand how it feels to be going through IVF. We had 7 good quality embryos in March 2019 but unfortunately we could not do a fresh cycle due to my thin lining. We were advised to do a FET in 2 months
