Help please for my sister with an underactive thyroid

Have g p appt next week and am on citalopram with mirena and

IVF and increased cancer risk?
Hello all, I signed my consents and it said each time that there's no evidence IVF increases the risk of cancer. However I've had a Google following reading some posts on Facebook and I've seen high quality studies suggest that there could be increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer. I think this

Fresh embryo transfer advice
What level should the
oestrogen
and progesterone be? Any other bloods recommended? How often should levels be checked? I will be on progesterone suppositories twice a day and maybe enoxaparin injections. Is there any other medication that I should be on e.g.
oestrogen
?

FET protocol
Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone else has been on this protocol for a FET: Buserelin injections from day 1 of cycle
Oestrogen
tablets 4x a day from day 5 Progesterone pessaries before transfer (think that's standard) I'm not questioning the protocol itself as of course the clinic are experts,

Please advise?
I am unsure if I should agree as worried about totally losing
oestrogen
, and some stuff I've heard and read about how you have a higher chance of heart disease, arterial plaque, weight gain etc after (I do understand it is different when as old as me, one reason I ask).

Free T levels dropped since being on HRT - Oestradiol patches
I’ve been on
oestrogen
only hrt since august of last year . Firstly the gel that you rub in. Then because of shortages I had to go onto patches. I was put on 100 Estradot patch but my Oestradiol level fell dramatically so my Gp increased to 2x100 patch. I’ve been on this dose for almost 5 weeks.

Using transdermal E2
Ronron's posts about using E2 instead of ADT have been interesting. Who else has used? If so: 1. Has anyone switched from using Lupron (or any 1st or 2nd level ADT, such as Firmagon, abiraterone, etc.) directly to transdermal E2? 2. Has anyone who has used it eventually become castrate resistant

Bio-Identical Estrogen Safety
I miss my estrogen. I have osteopenia and I'm post menopausal. At the age of 64, is it safe for me to take bio-identical hormones for my bones? I have been without synthetic HRT for about two years and my bones are falling apart. Are there any studies on bio-identical HRT?

Cancelled cycle - poor response
To do this, I am starting with 7 days of
Oestrogen
priming before starting to stim again. Has anyone been in the same situation and had a positive outcome? Thanks

Low hormone levels-what do they mean? What is normal?
I finally managed a telephone call with a gp who prescribed me
oestrogen
gel and progesterone pills. I decided to get a set of hormones tested by a blood test via Thriva and have just had the results. I wanted to know what my baseline was prior to starting on HRT.

Cancelled fet - cyst, oestrogen and thick lining
I'm week 4 or 5 into down reg I'm just waiting on a call to tell me my FET is to be cancelled after this mornings scan - the cyst is still large, my lining is 6.7mm and they think my
oestrogen
is probably still high. Waiting on bloods to confirm that.

US FDA accepts and grants priority review status to Menarini Group’s Elacestrant for patients with ER+/HER2 MBC
Hello Fellow MBC’ers: Breaking News! Oral SERD, Elacestrant - On Expedited FDA Approval by 2/17/23!!! This is a replacement for the Faslodex shots. The clinical trials have shown it to be more effective and certainly less painful. The press release is below. http://www.pharmabiz.com/NewsDetails.aspx

High TSH just before embryo transfer day - clinic said it’s fine…
Is it true
oestrogen
pushed TSH up and it’s not to be included in the range? I’ve upped my dose to 75 mcg everyday anyway as I assumed it can’t do any harm during the tww as I’m day 3 now but a bit concerned it might cause issues with success xx
