An Important thing to know if considering Estrogen Therapy.
My experience using estrogen as my only form of ADT has been positive. However, when my psa started rising and I began to feel pain in my spine and pelvis my MO put me on Zometa (bone drug IV every 3 mo). Was it necessary? I have no idea. I now get mildly sick for about 36 hours after the infusion

Bone Density - Dexa
I read somewhere that in the pre-Lupron days when DES (Diethylstilbestrol) was commonly used, bone loss was not a major issue. My 19-year history falls into three phases: i) continuous testosterone [T] ii) alternating 3-month periods of ADT & T iii) my version of BAT (LongBAT) - a single T injection

Bone Health issues re:Bisphosphonnates, etc. ????
I'm back again for further research about the bone density medications, and now wondering about the use of bisphosphonates, denosumab and teriparatide? My PCP is suggesting these, but he's not current with the research about estrogen and testosterone use for PCa care. My backstory is that I'm suffering

Enzalutamide/Xtandi monotherapy as ADT with fewer side effects than Lupron
Enzalutamide monotherapy can improve the quality of live for advanced prostate cancer patients. Thank you, Prof. Tombal, for promoting this arm in the Embark trial! Enzalutamide does not lower testosterone and estrogen, it even increases the level of these. This avoids the following side effects of

Need help with Oestradiol and thyroid blood results ASAP please!
I've just received my Medichecks results from yesterday and to say I am alarmed about the Oestradiol result is an understatement. My oestradiol is LOWER than when I tested before starting HRT in September 2022!

Bleeding and Fibroids
I'm a 58 year old woman and have been having very heavy bleeding and cramping for the past month. I have been on HRT for about three years and had to change my prescription due to previous bleeding. Post-menopausal PD friends: Estrogen patch?
My gynecologist just Rx'd an estrogen (plus progesterone because I still have a uterus) patch. My MDS says he's fine with me trying it. Does anyone here have any experience with it? I'm just wondering if there are any benefits or "gotchas" that are unique to WWP. I'm 57, a few years post-menopausal,

Do women with endo still go through the menopause despite the high levels of oestrogen?? and medical negligence...
I have so many menopausal symptoms yet my levels of
oestrogen
are believed to be very high so experts say that I have
oestrogen
dominance which can also lead to symptoms similar to the menopause.

Possibly off topic-acne on the chin
I thought I would ask this here, maybe someone else has this issue. I have acne but just on my chin. New pimples show up regularly and are deep inside the skin and usually painful. I’ve read that this might suggest issues with estrogen, does anyone else have this issue? Are there any tests I should be
