Update
After the first absolutely wonderful Friday following my first infusion of
Ocrevus
, things were a little tough. I will say that I have be3n feeling better in some aspects. I don't feel quite the extent of exhaustion I had been prior.

Ocrevus controversies?
Although it identifies some concerns, I believe that there are no perfect drugs , certainly no perfect MS drugs, and perhaps
Ocrevus
has more critics with personal vested interests because everyone was eagerly awaiting it and it was touted as such a miracle addition to the MS arsenal.

Convo with my neurologist about Ocrevus.
At my neuro appointment today, he brought up
Ocrevus
as I knew he would. He has ordered blood tests as the first step towards switching me from Tysabri. I'm in the high PML risk category so he has been wanting to switch me off of Tysabri for some time.

Update on Ocrevus.
The only post I have talked to that actually has been on
Ocrevus
any length of time, came from this chat room and that person was part a clinical trial that started this past January.

long wait!
That is the first time I can get in to see him to discuss
ocrevus
and begin whatever needs to be done before infusion. Stinks I have to wait sooooo long to even get that done!! Guess i'l be sticking with Tecfidera for longer than I had hoped.

We had discussed the risks of
Ocrevus
and weighed the benifits of the treatment. As nervous as I am to jump into something, someone has to. For me personally it is worth the risks for there aren't many things in life that do not. So here goes πΉ.

Neuro checkup appointment today
I also want to talk to him about
Ocrevus
. The nystagmus in my eyes that is the bain of my existence has for sure worsened. I'm wondering if it could be the new drug I'm on for incontinence. When I looked it up...sure enough...blurred vision can be one of the side effects.

Ocrevus again
I have not read all the recent posts, and there has been a lot of discussion of this drug. I would like to ask everyone in the group about what they have been told by their neurologist since the drug has been approved. Mainly I'm wondering if anyone with SPMS has been told they might be able to get

I've been on Rebif for the better part of 11 years, Until I started
OCREVUS
2 years ago, after first dose it seemed to be helping but not so much anymore. The Dr diagnosed me with secondary progressive MS about 6 1/2 years ago.
