Has anybody noticed a change to Armour at all this year?Just wanting to rule out different possibilities to why I feel worse than usual.
I have had alot of additional tough stressors this year ,but my FT4 and FT3 have dropped despite a gradual dose increase. I am going through the list of possibilities suggested on this forum, but thought I also should ask the question has Armour changed this year, ie perhaps a filler? I understand '

adrenal testing on the nhs?
is it worth trying? or are they going to only check for complete adrenal failure if i asked them? i have a feeling they will probably test what i ask since i've never had problems regarding specific tests before, but i would really just like to know what i should be checking. i'm losing LOTS of hair

SBRT without ADT
Hello All….hope you all are doing well. I decided to have radiation rather than surgery. My Gleason score is 7 with PSA 8.1. PMSA revealed no spread. Two lessons on prostate one positive and other negative. I will start 5 day radiation in about 10 days. I opt for 5 days over the 20 day option.

I have been through a series of tests and my pcp cannot determine the source. Can I switch my dose of dexa from

DI 02 effects beyond thyroid
I am one of the many who don’t get on with Levothyroxine. When I got up to the maximum dose without feeling better my consultant tried liothyronine which made me feel instantly livelier, but I had nasty side effects so ended up on NDT. I have to be at or slightly above top of the range to feel good and

New hot flash drug approved
The FDA today approved Veozah (fezolinetant) for women's hot flashes during menopause. It acts on the thermoregulatory mechanism in the brain. I would expect it to work on men taking ADT too, although it has not been proven. I hope that Medicare/Insurance will cover it in men. https://www.fda.gov/news-events

Newly diagnosed with N1M1a
My father (68 yr old) is newly diagnosed with Gleason 8 in March and his PSMA PET result just came back with N1M1a (details in bio page). Before the PSMA PET, RO's plan is the whole pelvis with IMRT followed by a prostate only boost based on CTScan and clear bone scan and stated that his treatment

So frustrated that endo told me my hypo symptoms are social, emotional and psychological
After 11 months I finally saw an endocrinology registrar to go over my blood test results and symptoms. I am on 150mcg thyroxine and 40mcg of liothyronine, after 7 years on NDT which I came off in January 2021 to return to the 'NHS way' of T4-only therapy (the price of NDT was becoming prohibitive plus

Switching from levothyroxine to NDT: your experience?
Hi beautiful people, I shared many posts here on the forum of how I've been trying to increase my levothyroxine for months and still struggling with the side effects - pulse increase, BP going up, hyper symptoms while hypo, etc. At this stage, I've been at it for 8 months and I still haven't found

11 months of vacatión and going strong, I think
Hello my fellow brothers. In 11 months of vacatión, my PSA has risen from point one to point seven. Still below one. My testosterone is still a little below normal, so I haven't felt the boost of returning to my youthful self, but I am feeling quite good and thankful. I am a former athlete (national

Newly diagnosed thinking of trying metavive.
I’m a 50 year old male and I’ve been experiencing a variety of symptoms for probably the last 4 years looking back. I didn’t even realise the thyroid was such an important organ. I used to be in the gym out running regularly but probably for the last 3-4 years these symptoms have got progressively worse
