What are the most Accurate scans for detecting hot spots of cancer? Husband has had several PSMA scans and CT with contrast yet nothing shows up. He had one lymph show up in 2017 on an Auxium scan and it was radiated. 7 years later PSA rising… up to 14. Yet scans show nothing definitive. CT with

When my urologist suggested I see an oncologist I was immediately put on Abi and had a Dexa bone scan scheduled. That was August and scan was done Dec. Switch from Lupron/abi to Orgovyx/abi?
As I approaching my third 3 month shot of Lupron I wonder if Orgo might push out my time fence to MCRP more than Lupron, but I don't see anything on it. Lupron/abi dropped my PSA and TT very quickly so that is not an advantage, but the side effects are considered to be less - though my side effects

MCH & MCHC Values
Hello All, This group has been very helpful to me during my pc journey. I just finished up 28 rounds of radiation and am currently taking Xtandi and Lupron injections monthly. My latest bloodwork show slightly high MCH and MCHC values and slightly low RBC. I searched on line but could not find any

Diagnosed under 55
I’m looking specifically for men and partners of men who were diagnosed with de novo stage four prostate cancer at their initial diagnosis. The treatments are different and unfortunately so it the overall outlook. The younger men are diagnosed with PCa, the more aggressive the cancer tends to be.

Unexpected early end to ADT
I have been on Orgovyx for 14 months. Intended to complete 18 months and then stop. When I re-applied to the Orgovyx Patient Assistance Program for the 2024 year, I provided my 2022 tax return. The reviewer would not accept it and asked for my 2023 tax return, which, being self employed, will not be

Info about docetaxel
I have been at Stage 4 for 7 1/2 years. and a succession of Xtandi, Nubequa, and Zytega along with Lupron has kept my PSA under two although each has eventually failed (PSA quickly rising above 1.0). My recent blood draw resulted in a jump from 0.78 to 1.29 while I was on the Aberaterone/prednisone protocol

Long Journey
Hey Guys, I don’t post on here often and I’m afraid this will be a long post. I have had PCa over 18 years. Started with casodex, Lupron. A few months later, brachytherapy then 42 sessions of EBRT. Over the years PSA would rise, and I would be put on Lupron for 18-24 months. In 2017, PSA started rising

Battling two cancers on two fronts, simultaneously
Has anyone fought PCa and NEPc simultaneously? I have had PCa-classic since 2011. After lupron/lusinipril for years, I began Casodex . Bad reaction, switched to Zytiga. That affected my liver enzymes, so on to Xtandi. It worked well. So, this last August a lump was found under my jaw at the lymph node

Fatigue after eating
Husband is getting very sleepy after all meals. His sugar is always below 100 when tested, he takes levothyroxine for low thyroid (waiting for over 2 weeks now on latest blood work and TSH results from PCP. *sigh* He's taking a statin (can't remember the name) and Tamsulosin. Current cancer treatment

ADT - HOT FLUSHES AND CALORIES CONSUMED
I am 3 months into Lupron and coping fairly well, I think, with the side effects so far, apart from the Hot Flushes (Flashes). I do not have many during the day but they seem to come at night and can sometimes be really intense and uncomfortable. I have found that the intensity for me seems to be related
