Non small cell carcinoma in lung.
I have recently been diagnosed with
non
small
cell
carcinoma
of the
lung
by the Royal Brompton. They sent a letter to my GP requesting an urgent 2 week referral to local oncology, GP surgery said they hadn't received the part of the letter asking for the referral.

Lung cancer stage 4
Just curious - have had cancer 6 times now, breast cancer x 3; bowel; lung; 5 times all operated on & fine, now this 6th time caused by the radiotherapy I had 25 years ago for my breast cancer caused my squamous lung cancer, not operable + of course no radiotherapy as I've had the max - was only discovered

Pulmonary Node revealed with PET scan not growing
During my treatment for PC the first Pet scan showed a pulmonary node. There were no Mets beyound the prostate. Three DRs., Urologist, Oncologist and Pulmonary, did not attribute the node to the PC, since it was so far removed and there were no other mets revealed. A subsquent MRI 3 months later indicated

Aspergillus post lung transplant.
Hi all, Haven’t been in touch for a while now but mercifully still here. Lungaversary last month which I can only describe as a stormy recovery. Trichosporon infection In clamshell wound delayed discharge by 4 weeks. 1 month in ICU with terrifying hallucinations which still haunt me today. Sternum

Bronchoscopy
My mom was diagnosed with pneumonia 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately 10 days of antibiotics were ineffective. She had a bronchoscopy today and while waiting for results, I was wondering if anybody else was in the same situation and what did the bronchoscopy show?

Rib pain after breathing test
On 22nd I took respiratory test. Ribs in area of LUNG SURGERY in 2019 are very painful upon effort; front, side, and back. I'm taking tylenol and rubbing creams with little improvement. Any one experience this after test?

Exercise post surgery
Hi, I appreciate there are other more serious matters of concern but I would just like to know what types of exercise and when you started after lung surgery. I am bored with physio and less motivated to walk everyday!

Lung cancer
Diagnosed with lung cancer very high in lung, Doctor says it's very difficult to get for biopsy, and then tells me that as I weigh 130 kg I might not be suitable for radiotherapy, is this right?

Hello, I just wanted to ask the community whether they had been through the process of being assessed for a lung transplant or not? What was your experience with the assessment? Did you get accepted as a transplant candidate? What condition did you have that led you to get assessed? Where their any

Lung Transplant + Fermented Foods
Hello, I have a question for lung transplant recipients: are you allowed to eat anything fermented? I may need a transplant in the near future, but I have a histamine problem which is controlled with antihistamines and DAO tablets. The problem is that the DAO tablets are essentially fermented peas
