Zoladex injection this week, any tips or advice?
I have my first Zoladex injection this week, does anyone have any tips or advice on what to expect? My consultant has not really said too much at all re the drug aside from I can only have it for 6 months at first, and doing the usual Google reading it looks as though the initial injection may be slightly

Second line treatment after Ibrance, letrozole and monthly zoladex.
I live in the south east of the U.K. previously someone posted the U.K. second line treatment from NICE after Ibrance / letrozle. I can not seem to find it, Would anyone have that article again, as the NICE website does not seem up to date. They removed pathways yesterday ! Thanks and hugs all

Zoladex implants, pain and moods!
Good afternoon everyone, So i was initially on Decapeptyl injections and due to collapsing twice and causing facial injuries and being unconscious for a long period of time, it was thought that i may be allergic to them so i was swapped to using Zoladex injections once a month instead. Zoladex, add back HRT and CHRONIC PAIN!
Hi all, first time here so thank you for any help! I had my first Zoladex injection a week ago and was also given Evorel 50 patches and Utrogestan to take to assist with the side affects. I am in agony! The joint/bone pain is getting worse each day and I’m totally shattered. Is the pain from the zoladex

No endometriosis found
Hi all, So after being on Zoladex injections for a year I finally had my laparoscopy surgery. No endometriosis was found during this except for tilted womb. Mirena coil inserted. I’m really upset that I’ve been given no diagnosis or real answer to the horrendous pain I’ve been in. Just looking to

Cough cough and more cough
Hello pretty ladies 🌺 I hope you are spending a relaxed Sunday. Please I need a solution. I am having a cough at specific times, right after eating and I am sitting up. If I'm standing it doesn't happen to me. If I have a coughing fit and drink water, it goes away. When I get in the car, I immediately

Hello from down under
Hi all, I’ll try to keep my journey with prostate cancer brief. I was diagnosed in March 2016 with advanced and aggressive PC with a Gleason 7. I chose surgery which, post op, increased the Gleason to 9 and PSA 0.03. 2017 I had follow up radiation but the PSA remained at 0.03 suggesting metastatic activity

20 months post EBRT and PSA remains at <=0.08
My PSA remains at <=0.08 20 months out from my 39 sessions of EBRT including pelvic lymph nodes. My final (of 3 years) shot of Zoladex is due in Feb ‘22. It’s wonderful to post a same old, same old, repetitive post! Long may it continue 😁 Hugh

Good morning!! Has anyone switched from Zoladex to Lupron? And what side effects do you have from the Lupron? My Dr. Just called and said my insurance company is no longer covering Zoladex so they are switching me to Lupron. TIA

Pain with every move
Hi please help I was on the menopause injections for 2 years, I switched between zoladex and prostap, and although I bled through out the 2 years and experienced bad menopausal side effects it helped me manage my endo pains. In March of this year I reached 2 years of using these injections, and I'm

Metastatic prostate cancer chronic lower back and pelvic pain which gets much, much worse at night.
Hi everyone! I have metastatic prostate cancer which has got into my bones. I’m currently on Zoladex long term hormone therapy following a 10 month course of chemotherapy which was not that successful so we’re looking at other options. FYI I have noted quite a lot of muscle wastage as a result of long

Changing treatments?
I have been on Firmagon (Degarelix) for 6 months now & have had success with it bringing the PSA down from 18.6 to 0.7 & now the ONC wants to change to Zoladex but am worried about different side effects. Is there any worse side effects?

To introduce myself. I’m 50 years old and only got diagnosed in May this year. Having my overdue mammogram, I went from zero to being told I have stage four metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my ribs, breast bone, shoulder blades, spine, skull and pelvis. The good news is that it’s just in my

Chemo with docetaxel?
I recently posted about my experience with Zytiga, and the proposed switch to Erleada, which I haven't yet tried, partly due to cost and difficulties of getting it in Cyprus, where I live. One specialist has proposed starting chemo with docetaxel. My PSA recently rose to 38 from 27 and the stereotactic
