Insomnia with new brand of Tamoxifen
I had been prescribed
Nolvadex
D and was taking it successfully more or less for 3 and a half years. Unfortunately
Nolvadex
is no longer being manufactured so I am now taking Teva Tamoxifen- a generic - I haven’t slept much or at all a few nights on this new med.

In the UK Olaparib only seems to be available for those testing positive for BRCA. Is this a cost issue that it is not widely available?
Beej59• A few seconds ago•0 Replies My partner has advanced PC with tumours in ribs, spine and iliac. He has been stable on Zoladex for 8 years but this may now be changing. We insisted on a BRCA test which has come back negative but from what I understand Olaparib is only being made available

Is pluvicto helping?
I started pluvicto on Jan 24, 2024. I’m on zoladex quarterly as well. I currently feel good compared to when i began pluvicto. My labwork are all normal, no abnormalities. My last scans show reduced mets in lymph nodes but still in bones and no progression. Would you say things are looking good with

⁹Relationship ending, unsure what to do. Any advice is most welcome
My partner recently told me that she no longer was interested in me anymore. Over the past couple of weeks, she seemed to become a bit distant with monosyllabic responses. Each time i tried to talk to her, it just seemed like I was annoying her. First I thought maybe she was just going through something

Zoladex
Hi all I know there will be 101 discussions out there so apologies I just needed to get my thoughts down. I was due to get my first zoladex injection today however after many hours of crying I cancelled. I'm so so worried about side affects and probably over thinking it all but I just panicked. I cant

Treatment Recommendation for father with advanced PCA to regional lymph nodes
Hi All, I was hoping for some feedback on the treatment schedule advised for my father. All the details for his diagnosis are in my bio. We met with the radio oncologist last week and he suggested the following 1. Start cosudex tablets now for 28 days and then stop 2. Start Zoladex injection within

Stopping Zoladex & HRT
I just wondered if anyone has had any negative experiences when stopping zoladex injections and HRT? I've been on zoladex for around 8 months now but my moods have become so extreme on them and I've still been bleeding severe on them I've decided to stop to see how I get on. I had my last injection

What is done in this case ? ADT not working
In may of 2011 the PSA and Biopsy showed that I had an agressive cancer with Gleason 8 so my prostate was extracted and after this I received radiotherapy. Since during the following 9 years my psa continued very low, I suspended checking it and last september I received the surprise that it had increased

Timing of Docetaxel
Hello. Am now in year 10. Details in profile. For 2+ years have been taking Zoladex, Zytiga and Prednisolone. The CT bone scans and Nuclear medicine full body scans every 6 months show no radiographic progression and I feel ok, apart from fatigue when not active. Recently have some discomfort

Bio Identical Progesterone Therapy
Morning, I'm so sick of our medical profession's approach to just fixing symptoms not the root cause. I'm on zoladex for excessive bleeding. Bleeding Heavily on Zoladex
I've been on Zoladex since the end of December. I'm on it for excessive bleeding. I had an abandoned hysterectomy last September when they found stage 4 endo. After this I saw an endo specialist privately and he put me on zoladex. I had an MRI which showed a lot of endometriosis which has fused my bowel

Zoladex - pre-fibroid removal
I've got a fibroid removal date through for just over 4 weeks' time. It'll be under GA (last local procedure wasn't so effective, not all fibroid was removed, and it's since continued to grow). MRI waiting times
Hi so I’m just wondering wether I should phone the gyni. I have been of all hormones since the 12th March, they gynaecologist said she wasn’t going to give me the coil because she didn’t think it would help due to 3 month of zoladex not working at all. And that she didn’t understand as to why it hadn

When is PARP introduced?
Hi My husband is currently on triple therapy ( Docetaxel chemo , Zoladex every 3 months and nubeqa) he has one more chemo round left next week. He is responding well so far as PSA is declining ( see profile for PSA) . I have seen some men are talking a PARP inhibitor and nubeqa and zoladex ( or ADT

length of zoladex and tobelone- side effects felt?
I have been having zoladex injections since November once a month. They advised HRT in Jan due to me experiencing headaches/hot flushes and brain fog (which at the time was the worst) . Since then the mood changes have been a lot to deal with feeling unhappy and down. My sleep pattern is interrupted

QoL at Steamboat
I’m so grateful for this community, my ONCs, and my family. Been skiing at Steamboat late in the season. Today was an almost winter day . Climbed up to Mt Warner. The pic is a view to the east of Rocky Mountain National Park about 70 miles as crow flies. Been stage 4 for 11 years. IADT for 8. On Zoladex
