Post ablation
My ablation was March 29 2017. Had some aflutter or tachycardia issues and wnnt back in the day I came home. I had a heart rate of 125 and was scared. Diltiazem and amiorderone drip lowered the rate but went home in tachycardia and on amiorderone 200. Now on 100. Mg. I’m scared of that. My issue

Problem getting tetanus booster due to methotrexate - anyone else had this?
Morning everyone I got bitten by my kids’ new rodent yesterday. Bloody stupid me being very impatient to get the beast out of its box. Took myself off to urgent cate to get a tetanus booster because I don’t think I’ve ever had one...and was told no because apparently it’s combined with two other vaccines

Constant dizziness following viral meningitis
I would be interested to know if anyone has been suffering from chronic and continual non relenting dizziness months after supposedly recovering from viral meningitis. If so,has anyone discovered a cure or at least anything that helps to combat this.

Kardia and tachycardia
Hello, I'm trying to get to grips with understanding the Kardia and it's capabilities for arrhythmias other than AF. It flagged up multiple atrial ectopics for me yesterday, but this trace from today showed as normal. My heart rate went from the 60s into the 170s for the few seconds this wasn't showing

Since coming off Flecainide
I wrote a couple of weeks ago about my Cardiologist taking me off Flecainide. Since coming off it for the 1st week I was getting a lot of ectopic beats but they settled down. 2 days ago I was in work had a meal then stretched back in my chair which started my heart to race to 208 BPM. I used my Kardia

This Year's (2017/18) Flu Vaccine
It seems some people with APS have no problems with the Flu vaccine, while others do. This year, my INR shot up to 7.7. And, I seemed to have some type of flare. I've been suffering for weeks after the shot. Professor Shoenfeld in Israel (and others) is doing work on adjuvant syndrome, whereby the flu

Burns to my legs using a tens machine
Hi I would like some advice on what cream to put on my legs. I have burnt them using my tens machine. I had them on under my compression bandages as I had been having muscle spasms making it very difficult to stand and didn't realise what was going on due to lack of sensation until it suddenly I felt

Seven years of trying everything I can for rectal spasms. Has anyone had any successful treatments or medications?
Hi there, I am ripping my hair out with seven years of no quality of life. I started with terrible rental spasms and pelvic pain and now I have been suffering from leg discomfort and weakness worse at night. MRI shows up no spinal compression. I have been all over the world to specialists, have tried

Is it possible my afib going away?
Maybe this is not realistic? I was diagnosed 5 months ago. Had four episodes in the first three months. All happened during i was sleeping. Then I realized metoprolol shouldn’t be prescribed to vagal afib and weaned off it. Also I added a cocktail of supplements and exercise daily. I also do some stretches
