Help me find a Neurologist in Orlando/Tampa area. Prefer someone open to dialogue and an appreciation of naturopathic medicine
I have PD for 10 years. I have been patient of Dr. Mischley for the last 3 years. I find her approach extremely helpful and I want to continue to follow her advice I haven’t seen a neurologist for a couple of years. Everyone I saw before was not helpful in the least but I feel i need to find someone

What is naturopathic nutritional therapy?
In 2012, after 3 years of study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, out into the world I went, as a newly qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. A time when banking and a daily commute from Crystal Palace into Canary Wharf, in London, were still the mainstay of my fabric, but not

My ferritin has dropped from 82ug/L (30-150) 4 months ago to 64ug/L (30-264) this week (both Medichecks- Inuvi lab). I’ve been scratching my head to find out why this could be, as my diet hasn’t changed. https://amzn.eu/d/bTWoF2o The only change I’ve made is to increase my usual turmeric dose (which

Hello, I just got back from neurology. After testing my reflexes with little response he's decided to book me in for electromyography to see what's happening with the nerves ....which is a good step forward. He mentioned all DA I said ...no ,he also mentioned amitriptoline but I explained this wasn't

Sotalol
My newly found Consultant Cardiologist has prescribed me two new drugs. Sotalol and Flecainide. In respect of the Sotalol he prescribed .... " one tablet twice a day". My tablets are 40mg dose. This replaces Bisoprolol and Nebivolol that I have taken at different times in past years gone by. Anyone

Numbness after methyl injections
Hello everyone, I recently switched from cyanocobalamin to methylcobalamin. The first few injections I felt euphoric and normal again, had wake up symptoms like tingling, twitches and burning pain. But as I continue to inject, it seems like the effect has dulled and now I have more numbness than anything

Moving Forward with Neuropathy
6 years ago my feet began feeling tingly and burning. Now they are completely numb up to my knees. My legs are weak and even with exercise and weights, I cannot get them stronger. I'm wondering if the weakness is a neurological issue. I e had a Laminectomy in my low back but received no relief from that

Thinking of switching to Gabapentin or Pregabalin
I had an absolutely horrible night last night. I take 2mg of Ropinirole but took an extra one last night. It's very ineffective and causes me all sorts of weird problems like confusion and cursing in a kind of semi-conscious daze. Which is best, Gabapentin or Pregabalin, and how much would I have to

Dopamine
I just read that dopamine is made in the adrenals I had not heard this in the past so I am wondering what does this all mean? So maybe there is dopamine being made but the cells can't use it properly? "Dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine are the main catecholamines (a label based on having part

Neuropathy & showering........ 🚿
Has anybody else noticed that taking a shower triggers their neuropathy ? I have tried all different temperatures but still I suffer the burning and stinging in my lower limbs. I wondered if it could be due to the force of the water hitting the nerve's that is triggering it !

Duloxetine and/or Pyridoxine
Hello Everyone, I’m on 5th line chemo , so well experienced at this game. It’ll be 9 years this year. I think I know the answer and I’m going to seek advice from my nurse specialist and have an appointment with my consultant soon, but I’d like to know if anyone has experience of either of the above
