Holding very low stable usPSA - 0.03X range for six years; no ADT, no chemo.
Eight years ago this month had RP after considerable investigation - nadir 0.050. Eleven months later had salvage RT; done at 0.10. Then after a year of pondering ADT and chemo, when my usPSA was back up to 0.10, I went to Europe for Ferrotran nano-MRI combined with Ga68 PSMA. The nanoMRI lite up

Private IVF Assessment - Worried about results
Just wondering of anyone has any experience of this. I went for a first private assessment for IVF yesterday. I am 36 years old and live in Northern Ireland. I met the BMI parameters (which I was please about!) however the issue came with the vaginal scan. I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis

Wondering if I should get a Partial Thyroidectomy?
I have a nodule on the left side of my thyroid which grew from 11 x 5 x 7 mm to 14 x 9 x 7 mm over the last 6 months. My endocrinologist and ENT believe it’s cancer. No impact on my lymph nodes. My surgery is in a few days and I’m just nervous I’m removing a part of my body that could be fine. Any

aortic valve stenosis
In 2022 I had a hip replacement following covid infection as it affected the synovial hip fluid and was then alerted to the fact that there was a problem with my aortic valve. I need to have aortic valve replacement and am currently on the waiting list. In my first consultation the cardiologist said

Hi all, First I must apologise, I am new to Glaucoma and looking to get some guidance from ideally someone who may have had a similar experience. I am a 44 year old male who was diagnosed with narrow angles following a routine eye exam. My eyesight is pretty good and I only wear reading glasses occasionally

too much aldosterone and afib?
I began my journey with Atrial fibrillation in 2010. Low potassium and high blood pressure was considered to be the instigator. I found out a year ago that I have a tumor on an adrenal gland that is producing too much aldosterone. Too much aldosterone causes low potassium and high blood pressure. I currently

I often read the experiences on CLL shared by our group on HealthUnlocked, and it's reassuring. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2013. After a long period of watch and wait (W&W), I was given only 2 cycles of chemo (BR) in 2019 instead of the planned 6 cycles due to severe side effects. Fortunately, I experienced

Advice Required
hello I’m looking after my elderly uncle. His wife passed on and shortly after that event he was diagnosed with PMR. He’s had it 3 & half years now. He’s struggling and no other family to help as all live in Canada. so. Should he see a specialist and if so what sort of specialist should he see?

Really struggling - Tocilzumab/Pred
Hello again, I’m in real pain around the clock and struggling to see past it at the moment. I’m due my second Toci injection tomorrow but the pain has gone worse since I had the first one last week. I posted that it hadn’t helped at all and was reassured when many of you said it took several weeks

Sodium cromoglicate - GP won't supply any more
Good afternoon everyone and thank you in advance for any help anyone might be able to offer. I have MCAS and POTS (as well as autoimmune, ME/CFS, histamine intolerance and a raft of other conditions) and recently started on sodium cromoglicate. The outcome has been almost miraculous - the first medication

Hi everyone ❤️ So I've just spoke to gp reception about me calling in to get my T3 prescription, but we're told it had been stopped, this was Friday last week, I explained I had around 4 /5days left. I also explained the endo did not want to deal with me and said she would only prescribe T4, which definitely
