Low dose naltrexone, has anyone heard or used this FDA approved drug?
This drug is supposed to be a great drug for autoimmune diseases even some cancers and hiv but so far I've asked 2 doctors about it and they haven't heard anything about it. I've read on it and would love to try it, hopefully the rheumatologist I see in January will know something. If anyone has any

Low dose
Naltrexone
has been recommended by Endo specialists, like Dr. Cook , for the treatment of endometriosis and the related infertility. Other doctors prescribe it also, as it regulates the immune system, the main culprit for endometriosis. Has anyone had any experience with it? thanx

low dose naltrexone [LDN]
Has anyone in UK had experience with low dose
naltrexone
or LDN for auto immune thyroid disoders. I am very interested in taking it as it seems to address the auto immune side of the illness.

LDN not a magic cure for me
Latest update on taking LDN (Low Dose
Naltrexone
): sadly after 5 months I've noticed no improvement in symptoms after the initial boost it gave me in mood and motivation/energy levels. And over the past 3 weeks I've had bad side effects and I've had to cut my dose right down to barely nothing.

Low dose naltrexone
I've been reading about this. It says it treats cancers so can it be used if diagnosed with ET. Consultant told me ET is a mild form of blood cancer

Naltrexone
For those of you unaware,
Naltrexone
is a drug that diminishes the desire to drink alcohol in much the same way that Champix takes away the desire for nicotine (i.e. a stop smoking drug). Many Thanks, Paul

Feeling fed up
We moved house at the end of August and I thought I was doing really well on the LDN (Low Dose
Naltrexone
), but evidently I borrowed too many 'spoons ' and now I'm paying off my debt! I've been in bed for a whole month now and I'm really fed up.

LDN, collagen, and other alternatives
I found a journal article about low dose
naltrexone
, "The use of low-dose
naltrexone
(LDN) as a novel anti-inflammatory treatment for chronic pain." It documents success with LDN for Crohn's, MS, etc, and notes that patients with higher inflammatory markers saw more success.

Low dose naltrexone
I've found some older posts about LDN but I can't find anyone who is reporting improvement in their Hashimoto's, nor can I find any clinical evidence to support its use in Hashimitos - if anyone can point me to clinical or even anecdotal evidence I'd really appreciate it. LDN certainly seems like it

Itchy problem
A month ago, I was put on
Naltrexone
50mg a day. But so far, it's not showing any signs of easing. Has anyone else been on
Naltrexone
, and been successful with it? If so, what dosage was it and how long did it take before the itchy problems disappeared? I just feel like giving up right now.

Is there anyone else who has Parkinsons who is taking this medication? I have been taking it for six months and my symptoms have not progressed and one symptom, involuntary tears have gone away. I do know that it has been utilized successfully for other autoimmune diseases and that it boosts endorphin
