Anti-Depressants and Cancer Survival
I've been taking Bupropion (generic Wellbutrin) seasonally for years, well before my diagnosis, and have been wondering what effects it might be having on my cancer. I found three very interesting links online that suggest this may be a trifecta of goodness for metastatic prostate cancer patients like

Free T3 below the range :(
Firstly, thank you for all the help and support from such amazing and knowledgeable members of this forum. My latest NHS bloods were taken 8:45AM, fasting, no levo 24 hrs prior. I have Hashimotos with positive TPO and TG antibodies. My TSH is 1.01 (0.55-4.78) free T4 13.3 (10-20) 33% through the range

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
Hello! Kind of new here but it was recommended that I share my experience with LDN to help treat my Hashimoto's. I was diagnosed just over a year ago and started on LDN shortly after diagnosis to help with several autoimmune issues and CFS/FM. I actually asked several of my former practitioners for LDN

Free T3 and T4 at the bottom of the ranges. What to do next?
Hello, this forum is fantastic! Thank you for your support. I've just received my test results. Bloods were taken 8:30AM, fasting, no levo 24 hrs prior. My TPO increased from 100 and TgAb from 532 since April 2019. I'm currently on 75mcg levo, for which I had to really push my GP to prescribe on TSH

Someone asked about Low Dose Naltrexone.
I thought I would post this on main site so that people can read. I have an unusual journey. I have been on LDN for about 2 weeks now. I am not sure if it has helped but I think that perhaps it is along with the other things I am trying. I developed disabling PMR in late March of this year (2019).

Wondering if anyone has had experiences using LDN for PMR ? I was recommended to check into this with my GP and Rheumatologist by a Geneticist friend who has Grave's disorder and this has done wonders for her. For more info https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29885638

Any ideas: Naltrexone vs Prednisone
Hello people. I have been getting better as per pain management on the whole. Legs still ache at beginning of winter in the southern hemisphere. I was told I no longer have PMR tapering off Prednisone after 22 months as CRP 1.5 to .9 along. After feeling well for 2 wks having come off the pred.

New Medication?
Hey guys, my doctor, along with my therapist, prescribed Bupropion, 100 mg. SR, and I have yet to take it. I was dumb and read reviews and the side effects online. I have a HUGE fear of vomiting so when I saw the side effect or nausea and possible vomiting it freaked me out. If anyone’s ever taken

Experience with LDN?
I’m hearing that low dose naltrexone addresses symptoms other than tremors and beneficial and benign. My neurologist doesn’t want to prescribe it. I could go to a naturopath for a prescription but wondering what luck others have had with it.

Naltrexone
I have just found this product on the website 'endo resolved'. I like their moto. Naltrexone is type drug called an “opiate antagonist”, meaning it blocks opioid receptors. Opioid receptors are related to pain, pleasure and endorphins. Taken in low doses LDN blocks opioid receptors only for a couple

Ropinerole
My meeting with Dr. Winkleman went pretty much how I expected. I knew it would mainly be med changes. One of which is ropinerole which I've been on for many years. Augmented last summer and along with my PCP we tried various meds . Ended up back on ropinirole along with lyrica 150 and lyrica 75 and

Has anyone tried Wellbutrin / bupropion and has it helped?
I have OCD, but cannot take SSRIs. Even SNRIs probably won't be good as I have thrombocytopenia and am pretty sure it has the same mechanism on certain aspects so could cause bleeding for me (which SSRIs did). I am not on anything now, but still sometimes think it would help whilst I am learning all
