Advice on supplements in-between injections, I don't want to over-dose
On Monday, I'm having my 6th and final loading injection, then I'm onto 3 monthly injections, to be reviewed in a year. I'm feeling loads better now, which is a huge relief. My GP thinks my b12 deficiency is due to diet, and as my blood levels rose from 150 to 214, in less than two weeks, once I started

Which supplements?
Hi Ladies Hope you're all doing ok despite set backs and long waits, I hope this is our year! I was just wondering what supplements you're all on? I just take the pregnacare one but wonder if I should be taking other supplements, has anyone researched this? Thanks Mx

Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation on Eliquis
Background: Some where around 20 years ago I was told that I had benign PVC's and was given Metoprolol 25mg twice a day. Eight years ago I had a coronary angiogram done and everything looked good and was told I had good heart function. Recently I started having lightheartedness, low energy and something

Tired. Feel like giving up the battle.
Now as I look back, I slap myself for having taken a multi that contains a freaking *antacid* within. for those unaware, calcium carbonate is an antacid, and many idiot companies add that as calcium in your
multivitamins

Palpitations and pregnant
Hi, am 45 and 7.5 wks pregnant. Was diagnosed as borderline thyroid in 2012/13 and also had v low iron (5) and low B12. Dr gave me supplements and 50mg levo. Took the levo for a couple of weeks on a couple of occasions and had to stop as heart was too racy. TSH seemed to normalise itself a little so

Electrolytes
I have been taking
multivitamins
and a magnesium supplement for about three years and this has alleviated a tiny bit my fatigue...however I'm not sure if that's sufficient to reintegrate all the electrolytes I have been loosing in the course of I don't know how many years.

Update on my alternative therapies
Osteoporosis: I have been gathering several new-to-me supplements, having ditched the standard
multivitamins
and D3 tablets. These include a special formula for strong bones (calcium in the form of hydroxyapatite), K2-7, cod liver oil (for Vitamin A in its retinoid form and more D).

Vitamin K
Hi My 37 yr old (very fit) son had a DVT in his leg last year and after blood tests he was told he had cardiolipin antibodies and Hughes Syndrome. He hasn't seen an APS specialist and is just on daily aspirin and quite well really, so is reluctant to take it any further while he's coping ok. (not sure

His ferratin was low despite several months of
multivitamins
and B12 and he has been prescribed iron, his B12 was 600 ish (I've been supplementing). The rest I can't remember but will try and get a print out from the GP later this week. We are awaiting the results for the gluten antibodies test.

Vitamins
Hi all I have Hashimotos and am taking Nutri Thyroid and Nutri Adrenal Extra. I also need to take various vitamin supplements and at the minute I'm taking a generic multivitamin tablet but I'm just wondering if its better to take separate vitamin tablets or if there's a particularly effective multivitamin

Selenium Supplementation - Background Information
Selenium is an ingredient in many
multivitamins
and other dietary supplements, including infant formula. It is a component of the antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase and thioredoxin reductase (which indirectly reduce certain oxidized molecules in animals and some plants).

IVF with endo/adenomyosis
I am starting IVF in January. I have adenomyosis and a stage 4 rve endometrioma (in a place that would likely mean resectioning the bowel to remove it, so lap consultant said to leave it for as long as possible if my symptoms are bearable, and until after I've had children). I would like to know if anyone

Do I have Hashimoto's or CFS?
That's the question I am pondering over at the moment. Hope that some of you may be able to offer some wisdom – to help out, this is the story so far (this is long – very sorry!): On 19 February 2015 I started to feel like I was coming down with a viral infection. There were things going round the office

Could I be hypo if no symptoms aside from lethargy and depression?
My depression has cost me a 19-year relationship, as well as thousands of pounds on therapy and supplements (
multivitamins
, EPA, SAM-E, 5-HTP, St John's, you name it, I've tried it and been bitterly disappointed every time). Three months ago I had TSH 4.25 and T4 13.1 No other tests were done.
