Movicol
Like one poo per week, so I bought some
movicol
and I've had all 8 sachets yesterday. Today I had a bit of runny diarrhea but not much actual stool. Will I do anymore poos or is that it's effect gone already?

Anxiety over poo....
We seem to have tried every available dose of
movicol
but alas we can't seem to quite get there. On a daily basis we are now back to square one with poo accidents that range from soiling to full blown accidents that she says she can't feel.

8 Year-old Can't Get Bottom Clean
We went to the doctor and were given Senna for constipation which didn't do anything and we then went to
Movicol
(my son actually took this for a couple of years when he was younger for constipation but we haven't had any toilet problems for about 2 years and he was off the
Movicol
).

Diverticulitis
Ive had 12
movicol
sachets in 3 days and haven't had a bowel movement yet? Does this sound like diverticulitis? I mean, I did have some pencil thin and pellet stool a few months ago but that could just be because of constipation.

2 1/2 year old constipation help!
The Gp prescribed
movicol
initially at a high dose that we then dropped down (think it was 6 per day to begin, then reduce to 2 per day once she'd had a clear out) this seemed to give her tummy ache and when she did eventually go it was so forceful like an explosion!

Stomach Pain in 6 year old
My son is 6.5 and he is having trouble with poo and wee accidents, we have been to the GP had
movicol
and senicot and have been referred to a Gastroenterologist our first appointment is in May. I can relate very much to the stress and frustration other posters are experiencing.

Night Time Wetting
They asked us to start him on
movicol
. After this I recorded for 2weeks and he was going every day so we did not give him the
movicol
. He started on desmopressin melts and after 2 weeks still no improvement, they doubled the dose. He has been on this for nearly 5 weeks now and still no improvement.

Maintenance Dose - Grrrrr!
GP was useless - put her on
movicol
with zero explanation as to what to do. Got to the diarrhoea stage, panicked, went back to the GP who took us off it and said it was a control issue that she would grow out of.

Totally Broken. 2 years of 7 year old with stool & urine accidents
Tried
movicol

Movicol

Help with poo witholding
Drs have prescribed
movicol
although she refuses to drink it if she knows it's in her drink and I struggle to get her to drink much anyway. She is awaiting a paediatrician appointment but I've been told that because it's been going on for so long it may not be treated as urgent!

Ongoing Witholding issues and tummy bugs
I gave her one sachet of
Movicol
and this produced dramatic diarrhoea but got rid of the tummy ache. No more
Movicol
. The loose poo continued for a week so I took her off lactose, this helped a bit. Last weekend, another tummy bug struck.

Poo with holding
He has been on and off
movicol
and Laxido and the occasional use of lactulose when needs be. Even on
movicol
he is still holding for around 4 days on average. He makes signs that he needs to go everyday but I cannot get him to routinely sit on the loo.
