HARD DAY.
I’m having a hard day today . I’m trying to be grateful but I’m tired of being strong and saying I’m doing fine. I found out I have a 3rd degree complete tear in my hamstring . 😔 As a runner , that’s not good news. I’ve never had injuries in my over 20 years of running but since diagnosed with PD

Still struggling and can hardly see
Sorry for any typos but my blurry vision has been back and I found out at PT that it’s nystagmus, so my eyes are moving. It’s still episodic but lately it feels like I get it every day. I went like a month without it happening and my leg strength seemed to be returning so I’m really upset that I’m still

Vagus Nerve Stimulation in Rheumatoid Arthritis
I recently saw a news item on Sky News (from 2014) which showed a trial of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) that had proven very effective in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have looked on the web and contacted Dr Peter Tak who led the trial to see if there had been any developments - he said

Hi Ladies, I hope you can shed some light please? I am currently taking Progynova 6mg a night for almost 4 weeks & have my first scan to check my womb lining on Wednesday. However, I have been a little concerned as I have been experiencing an achy pain near my left side of my ovary/stomach. Is this normal

FLOATERS
Hey all, I have had floaters since I was 12. I remember panicking over them because I felt no one had them. This until I went to the eye doctor and he saw them. I had showers of floaters, and with my anxiety it was horrrible. I still feel like I have a brain tumor and it has been 7 years. Anyway, I got

Abingdon Parkrun - streak of 3!!
Three weeks in a row - does that count as a hat trick? As you can see, I'm looking very smug in the photo, largely because I completed it in about 1 1/2 minutes less than last week, and managed to keep running all the way. Have improved the time each week. I did C25K two years ago, and did a single

Ear cleaning in babies
I've been advised by older relatives that when my baby (4months) has bubbles in her drool, that she is itching somewhere and they take it upon themselves to clean her ears with cotton buds. I've noticed this is usually done in my absence so I dont know how the cleaning takes place but I have made it

EMDR Therapy
I have been looking into EMDR for my PTSD with complex anxiety. I have so many traumatic events in my life I couldn't even count them all. Childhood through today. I am on Effexor and it has worked for many years but my dose keeps needing to go up and I hate it. If I miss one day of my meds I'm down

Does anyone ever see something for a split second when looking up, and then it vanishes after a second?
Sometimes I will just look up and then think I see something but then it vanishes after a second. The first time this happened was I looked up out the window while washing dishes and I thought I saw my cat but after a split second it went away. This time tonight it happened when my mom was giving me

Dry eyes
Hi.. I have PA am self injecting every few weeks but have recently developed irritation in my eyes.. I think it’s dry eyes. I live in a hot country so have to use fans which is a pain but I wondered if it’s just another symptom of getting older (I’m 52) or if it’s linked to the PA ? Anyone got any ideas

I am a 35 year old female and I am diagnosed with PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, and recurrent clinical depression. Even though I was diagnosed with these conditions about two years, I'm sure I've had some form of

The saga continues...hit a brick wall
Hello all! Hope your summer was enjoyable! Mine was pretty good until recently. Part 1: I’ve hit a wall with the prednisone usage and the doctors. I can’t get down below 35mg without my temple and eye pain coming back. I’ve been on the prednisone for over 3 months at a high dose. I did not have many
