Mirena
I've had my
mirena
since the 10th on September I'm still spotting day in day out and is often brown and then bright red. I have it fired as I was suffering with extreme heavy bleeds. Im getting really fed up. I'm just starting a new relationship and I want it to stop.

Mirena coil
My
mirena
coil came out anyone else this happened to? It only lasted two days and I had it under general anaesthesia. I'm annoyed now 😤 I didn't see it come out. I have endometrium hyperplasia anyone else with this?

Mirena coil - weight gain and mood swings
Doctors have said it is not a known side effect of the
Mirena
but this is just not normal? If you don't have the
mirena
, what do you use to treat your endometriosis? Super curious, I don't know anyone really who has the same thing

One year post endometrial ablation and lap update.
Mirena
coil fitted and bilateral ovarian cysts removed. All has been really good. I occasionally get verve pain around port sites from my lap but generally much better. No period in a year which is an unbelievable relief after months of flooding pre op.

Potential questions to ask before committing to the mirena
Like what's the difference between having the pop and
mirena
isn't it same hormones?

mirena coil and migraines
I got the
mirena
coil two weeks ago. Had constant bleeding, cramps / contracting near the coil. On and off headaches. Now I have the worst migraine. Feels like constant pms symptoms. I know it can take 6 months to settle but not sure I can cope with the headaches.

Mirena coil/mini pill
Just wondering if anyone had any success with
mirena
or mini pill? Seems all I see are problems being caused with them. I've never got on with hormones since having kids so I'm reluctant to try. Not sure how much it slows down endo progression?

Endometriosis and mirena coil
Hi, I hope someone can help, i was diagnosed with endometriosis in December 2023 after undergoing laparoscopy, it couldn't be removed at the time, I am now waiting for robotic excision, I have been recommended to have the
mirena
coil fitted at the same time as surgery.

patch
Hiya, I wondered if anyone with a
mirena
coil has ended up using the patch too? If so, how are you finding it? I’ve been recommended it for stage 4 endo, surgery is 2+ years waiting list. I don’t react too well to hormones, but I’m at a point where it can’t be worse.

What contraception with endo
Some nurses have also said that they were surprised I was advised the
mirena
coil to help with my endo as it would not stop ovulation, so I am a bit confused.

periods on mirena but no pain
I’ve had 2 laps for endo, have tri cycled the pill and been on tablets such as naproxen. Ive been so luckily that having the coil fitted during my 2nd lap has majorly improved pain and quality of life. I’ve had it for a year and bit and I’m on my 5th period. My dilemma is it’s pain free but how much

Returning Endometriosis with a vengeance!
The NHS haven’t been very helpful as I have been waiting for nearly two years for the
mirena
coil. I took matters into my own hands and got the
mirena
privately fitted as I would do anything to not be in constant pain.

Post menopause, pernicious anaemia and endometriosis
Diagnosed with endomeriosis over 15 years years ago, had Prostap injections for 6 months, with little success and opted to try
Mirena
Coil first before hysterectomy.
Mirena
was a god send for me, it was great at controlling my symptons, I've had 3
mirena
coils in total.

Birth control for PCOS and ENDO
I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago and was put on the
Mirena
coil to help relieve symptoms and to balance out my hormones. Last week I had my first diagnostic and excision surgery for Endo where they found Endo in my pelvis and around my ovaries.

Experience on Zoladex or Prostap for endometriosis
I currently have the
mirena
coil but haven't seen any improvement of my symptoms. I’m desperate so really willing to try anything but I am nervous about the side effects and mental health impact. Would love to hear your stories or any advice would be appreciated 😊x

Advice on shrinking endometrioma
As I have the
mirena
coil I don't have a period or any pain other than the occasional dull ache. Does anyone have any experience of following a certain diet, taking certain supplements or doing any alternative therapies which have actually shrunk cysts or reduced sites of endo?

1 year post op with continuing issues
I had that removes, along with some ovarian cysts, and the
Mirena
coil implanted. Firstly, has anyone had any positive experiences with the
Mirena
? I'm a year in and I'm not really feeling the benefits of it.
