I'm 42, and had a laparoscopy back in March to remove a large chocolate cyst (9cm) which was causing me excruciating pain, I felt like I had a constant UTI and bowel movements were very painful, I had constant pressure

I take 225mcg of levothyroxine daily and have done for 20 years; recently found old photos of myself pre-babies and I wasn't always this fat and I didn't have frizzy hair! So, am now 55 and probably through the menopause although I was prescribed HRT to compensate for appalling heavy bleeding and anxiety

Laparoscopy or no?
Hi Everyone this is my first post and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Mirena coil?
I'm new here. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me their experience of a mirena coil. I am 46 and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis 2 weeks ago after 30 years of trying to get doctors to take me seriously, despite the fact my mother had endometriosis. I was told that I would have a hysteroscopy

Failed Mirena Removal
Hi lovely ladies. I need some advice, after non stop problems from my mirena, My GP finally said, you've given it a good enough go, enough time has passed for us to know its not going to settle and agreed to remove it, except that she couldn't, she couldn't find any strings... we know its in there

Yesterday
I have been having scans for a cyst for 18 months, I am 53, it was scheduled to be removed yesterday, however I woke up to being told a Mirena coil had been fitted, they had removed a polyp and done some cautery. They discovered stage 4 endometriosis, I have been told the cyst is attached to my bowel

anyone with similar/ any answers?!
Hi, Ive battled with Endo/ severe dysmennohrea since I was 9! I'm now 23 and nothing has been a long term improvement. I had a lap in 2012 and they found some medium sized endo. Since 2015 though the pain and amount of blood loss has been severe. I've had to call for paramedics a few times which seems

Hi, So I've had my IUD (Copper coil) in for the past 3 years or so. I've never had a problem, I suffered with pretty painful periods anyway but nothing as bad as they are now. About 8 months ago I started getting severe period pain and bleeding in between periods. I kept a log of my periods and thought
