Mirena pain
I started experiencing endo symptoms late last year, awful ongoing pain and tiredness which was so hard to describe and left me weak and sad. I also had rectal pain and bleeding which I didn't know could be connected until I started seeing others online who experienced the same thing. My GP prescribed

Anyone recommend what to take next after a year on Zoledex?
Hi, I have posted on here previously but need advise if anyone is reading.... After my laparoscopy last May I was advised to go away and think of having a hysterectomy. At my follow up appointment in November the same consultant said that he would not recommend having one, as I am 38 and would prefer

Can running exacerbate endo symptoms?
Hi ladies I was diagnosed with Stage IV Endo 21 years ago. In the last year I did the Coach to 5k training and now run 5k twice a week. I find the running really makes a difference to my outlook and I enjoy it, although lately I noticed I have been bloated after the run and have in pain in my abdomen

Hi - my name is Jordana, I am 24 and this is my first post. It's a long one so I can only apologise, but I wanted to cover everything from the very beginning to see if anyone here could relate to any stage of this and give me some answers/advice? Laparoscopy advice and tips??
I’ve finally got a date for my diagnostic laparoscopy, it’s just over 6 weeks away. Does anyone have any advice or tips for before and after the procedure? I’ve never had any type of surgery before, so I am nervous but at the same time I’m looking forward to possible answers. Also roughly how long would

Newbie
So, brand new to this forum! I’ve had Gynae probs now for about 6 years, well longer but that’s been the worst. My heavy periods and cramps were eased by the pill (vilest) from I was about 14. I was on that for about 12 years despite having migraines 🙄. When my mum was diagnosed with multiple strokes

Anyone have the mirena coil? My doctor has recommended me to have this fitted since I have a hormonal imbalance due to the contraceptive pill I was taking. Symptoms include depression and anxiety amongst many others but, I am very nervous and anxious about having this coil fitted as I don't know what

Marina coil
I got the marina coil fitted 4 years ago. Recently in the last 2 months my periods have come back. I went to my doctor she said it is nothing to worry about. I am not initially satisfied with her response. She gave me no reason. I feel I am no wise.

Pain associated with bowel habits
Hi guys, I was recently diagnosed (well, havent had lap yet) with endometriosis following symptoms of terrible cramps during period, painful spot on sex and pain all throughout. I haven't had a lap yet as I was told my Mirena can improve my symptoms if I give it a bit more time and could spare me a surgery

Mirena: pain without bleeding?
Hello, After 9 months and a short course of norethisterone, my Mirena seems to finally be "working" in the sense I am not getting a period anymore... However I notice I am still getting pain which seems to be cyclical, i.e. during what should be my ovulation time and also when I should be getting a period

Mirena Coil for 16 year old girl? Has to be fitted soon :(
Hi, I'm debating going through with the mirena coil and would like some advice from people who've had it (I'd love anybody's advice, but particularly if you haven't had children so I know what the pain is like). I've been on the pill since I was 11, having had horrendous periods starting when I was 10
