So tired!
I am so tired, like proper fatigue, arms and legs feel heavy and can't concentrate on much for long. I do get this every now and then and have to go to bed for a few hours but this feels like it's lasted all week. I am technically on my period week but tend not to really bleed since having a mirena

Advice about referral and the right thing to say
I really need advice on what to ask my GP for to get my issue solved. I have had lower abdominal pain and discomfort for about 2 and a half years. February 2020 I went to my doctor about it. I described: fatigue, bloating, period cramps when it wasn't my period, painful ovaries, periods every 22 days

Does anyone have experience of the Mirena reducing back pain?
Does anyone have any experience of the Mirena coil improving constant pain rather than just cyclical pain? I had an internal ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said she didn’t see any obvious signs of disease and gave me no other advice other than just to try the mirena. I was pretty disappointed with

Mirena IUD
Interested to know if a Mirena IUD is safe to have if you have Nash. I have read conflicting reports. I have only just had it inserted but apparently the hormones can have an affect on the liver?? I would have researched it prior but after having post menopausal bleeding I was ushered into hospital without

Follow up after op. Not sure what to do next now?! Any advice?
Feel really frustrated and I don’t know if I’m being unreasonable or if it’s just because I’m so deflated about the whole situation. So had my follow up today after having my op done early December to remove deep Endo. Basically to cut a long story short I’m still in pain all of the time literally

New stage 4 diagnosis
Hey guys, I’m new here having just been diagnosed with stage 4 endo and adenomyosis. Having laparoscopic surgery for this in under 2 weeks and a mirena coil fitted. I’m 25 and concerned about starting a family with my boyfriend. Does anyone have any positives or any advice to help preserve my fertility

Running out of Endometriosis treatment options! Are there any more out there?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with endometriosis last May through a diagnostic laparoscopy, with Mirena coil inserted during the op. That has been found to not be sufficient enough alone to combat the endo that still remains and it’s started to grow back on one of my ovaries. They’ve found that my ovary is

Next step?
Hi all, I have endo, have never been told a stage. I have had two laps, one in 2016 by general gynae and one Feb 2020 at BCGE Centre. I have quite a complicated medical history. I was initially on cerazette (this stopped my bleeds) but had to stop it in late 2017 as they believed it could be aggravating

Mirena Coil removal issue
Hi all, Me and partner have decided we want to try for a baby. So I’ve been for my coil removing today at the doctors. But unfortunately the doctor couldn’t remove it as she couldn’t find the strings, I thought this would be an issue as my past smears my strings weren’t located. I had to have ultrasounds

So many concerns about life affected by endo
Hi everyone, this may turn out to be very long but I need a bit of a splurge of all the things I've been worrying about... I was diagnosed with probable endo and endometriomas last January, then took ages to have scans etc because of covid. I finally had an MRI before Christmas, which showed stage 4

Adhesions no endo found but said could be in the muscle?!
In 2017 I had my first lap. Found adhesions. Was my ovary stuck to pelvis or something like that. They asked if I had surgery before as that could possibly cause it but this was my first surgery. She said it could be in the muscle and/or could be adeno it wouldn’t be able to say for sure unless it got

I find I’m still in quite a lot of pain with the same symptoms I had before my

Advice on healthcare at the moment
Hi guys. I’m just looking for some advice if anyone has any. I’ve been diagnosed with endo and had my excision surgery over a year ago now, but due to the COVID outbreak, have not been for my post-op consultation where I was supposed to have the Mirena Coil fitted under anaesthetic. Since, my GP is convinced

Endometrial hyperplasia...anovulatory cycles... ovaries too high...AMH 1.8...age 39.... Any words of hope?
Would be so grateful if anyone is able to offer thoughts...am hoping to start IVF but had a hysteroscopy and scan yesterday (not started any treatment yet) and was told could barely visualise ovaries as they were so high. Consultant said we might be able to try IVF but couldn’t guarantee he’d be able
