ENDO SURGEON RECOMMENDATION LONDON
Hi all, I have grade 4 endometriosis and have had very extensive surgery over the last 15 years on many occasions with gynaecologists, colorectal and urologists together (yup.. that bad!) I had my last surgery 10 months ago and have just had another scan to show that I have a cyst that needs removing

Contraception advice
Hi all, I just wondered if anyone could help with regards to contraception. I am still waiting to be seen by a endo specialist, however as I’ve been in a lot of pain with my periods etc my gp did recommend me to go on a pill to help relieve the pain for the time being as well. I am 50/50 with it all

Mirena coil malposition, low lying
Hi everyone I currently have the Mirena coil which was inserted/replaced during my lap in March 2021. I just had an internal ultrasound due to ongoing add increasing pain to check if any new cysts and luckily none found. However my Mirena is low lying at 7mm low. I have a history of expulsion and malpositioned

Zoladex and bleeding
Hi, I’m new here! Just wondering if anyone has had the same thing happen. So I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery in November 2020 and started my first round of zoladex in February 2021. This completely stopped my periods and helped eased my constant pain so it was more

Fatigue
I'm interested in understanding if there are others with the same issue as me. I have endometriosis, but have a mirena coil which has stopped my periods. I have some pain at times, but it follows no pattern and doesn't cause me too many issues. However, I've had ongoing issues with fatigue for as long

Are the tens machine worth it? Ovira?
Hi! I was diagnosed with endometriosis two weeks ago. Mirena coil was fitted during the surgery and my cramps came back (no as bad as it use to be 🤞🏻) before the mirena I was under two mini pills x days to cut completely my period and handle my pain. I am really thinking about investing in a tens machine

First Gynae Appointment
I had my first appointment today, a last minute one, I want to say it went great but it went how I thought it would. I explained everything, she pushed hormones on me repeatedly, just not Mirena as my womb is the wrong shape for it. She was against a lap, as she said they’d treat with hormones anyway

Cannot find an answer to this!
I’m really struggling with perimenopausal hormone fluctuations. My thyroid levels are stable and have been for a while now, however at the beginning of my cycle when my protestors drops and oestrogen increases, I feel awful and it takes a couple of weeks to level out again. I had been using bioidential

Contraceptive whilst on Decapeptyl - do I really need one?
Has anyone else been in this situation and what were you advised about contraception? I’ve been on Decapeptyl injections for 8 years and these have successfully managed by endometriosis. I have no pain or other symptoms whatsoever now. I get bone scans every 3 years to check my bone density and I’ve

Symptoms post hormonal treatment
I’ve had the mirena coil for almost 8 years (8 years post diagnosis) and I’ve started having symptoms again. No bleeding or severe cramps but bad back and pelvis pain. Has anyone else had this post hormonal treatment? Or am I being overly worried?

Experience with the Mirena Coil for Endo
Hello, After not getting on with side effects of Prostap, my gynae is proposing to trial the Mirena Coil. I'm due to have it fitted at the end of this month. I've heard mixed reviews - from horror stories (re side effects) to success stories! I just wondered if anyone who's had the coil could share
