Microvascular Angina
I have blacked out twice and an ambulance taken me to A&E where when asked if they are aware of
microvascular
angina
they are not. Against my principles I will see privately a Consultant at Papworth who is knowledgeable about
microvascular
angina
. Thank you for allowing me to rant😊

I’ve been diagnosed with
Microvascular
Angina
(2 previous heart attacks in 21&22 - they weren’t fun) anyway moving on over the past few months I’ve been having random attack of my head buzzing then sweating profusely and feeling like I need to lay down quickly it’s a horrible feeling but I don’t know

Having been diagnosed in June 23 with
microvascular
angina
and coronary spasm I wondered how others cope with this condition. My follow up appointment will not be until next May therefore I don't have a treatment plan in place yet.

Dry skin
I have
Microvascular
Angina
and on a lot of meds. Does anyone else suffer from dry skin? I pile on lotions and potions topically and also take collagen but my arms and legs particularly have paper thin dry skin. I'm 58 and expect some of this but it does seem to be worse than I'd expect.

Help please about microvascular angina
However, the horrendous nuclear heart scan did reveal some damage to the outer wall of the heart and my GP tells me that I have also been diagnosed with
microvascular
angina

microvascular angina result/reading query
Hi all ! I had an angiogram that looked at Micro Vascular issues and had an IMR reading (index of microcirculatory resistance IMR) of 30 - which means a diagnosis of Micro Vascular Angina.. But does anyone know what this means? Is it good or bad? Barely on the charts or well along? I’ve tried googling

PET scan microvascular disease
Now considering
microvascular
angina
. Anyone know anything about PET scans for that? Sounds expensive and wondering if NHS do this?

Recently Diagnosed with microvascular angina
I've just been diagnosed with
microvascular
angina
. I'm still in shock and not dealing well with the diagnosis. I feel like they've made a mistake (although probably not....). I had all the usual tests which came back fine and finally the exercise stress test and an angiogram.

I'm going on a cruise and my other half wants to get the drinks package. But I suffer from
microvascular
angina
and had a stent fitted 4 years ago. I'm on heart meds/statins. My question is should I be drinking for 14 days . I do drink but about once a week .

Lack.of information from doctors
Where I spent the next 12 days( I still don't know I was in for so long) I had an angiogram on the 1st of December and an MRI perfusion and CT scan I have been diagnosed with coronary artery spasms that triggers polymorphic VT,
microvascular
angina
and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.

Dad back in cardio ward
I was there when the cardiologist came in and based on my dad's symptoms ( shooting pains, breathlessness, happens mainly at night, when lying down) I asked the cardiologist if it could be
microvascular
angina
? It's odd as what ever happened caused troponin to be at 100 .

I had an Echo this evening
It wouldn't pick up
microvascular
angina
, which has been mentioned. I am due to have a 24hr monitor soon too. I guess my cardiac nurse will be in touch soon to go over the report soon. Any ideas what I should expect next or indeed what I should be asking for.

Post stent weakness
The theory is that I have
microvascular
angina
. Now I have an unpleasant feeling of muscular weakness. Not tiredness but similar to the feeling of weakness you get when you haven't eaten for a long time. Has anyone else encountered this weakness?
